Two women teachers were arrested for having sex with their young students, one a 11 year-od. The teachers had sex with a total of six Black students in one of South Carolina’s most conservative counties. The case has taken on a racial tone after the teachers were released:

“If this had been black teachers, they would not be out of jail right now,” said Corinnie Young, a 49-year-old bookstore employee who is black.

“I can assure you if it were an African American male who committed such an offense against a white female, history shows us that the charges, the punishment and the sentencing would be totally different,” said state NAACP president Lonnie Randolph. “The system ain’t blind when the perpetrator is an African American male or female or when the victim is a white female.”

You know R Kelly wouln’t be making an “I am a Flirt” video if he pissed on lil Jojo a couple years ago. SMH at the young white kids not being able to get some of that teacher love.

TMZ has learned Vivica A. Fox has been busted for DUI. It happened last night on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley at 10:57 PM. We’re told Fox passed a marked black and white while going approximately 80 mph. Sources say the officers went after the 2007 Cadillac Escalade she was driving. The officers administered a field sobriety test — which Fox was unable to perform. The former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant was then placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. Fox was taken to Van Nuys jail where she submitted to two breathalyzer tests. CHP spokesman Leland Tang told TMZ, “It was definitely over the .08 legal limit.” Fox was cited and released on her own recognizance and ordered to appear in court.

That’s good, One-Time cuffed her before she could kill someone . All that bad plastic surgery probably has her hitting that Henny pretty hard, with no coke. Just how I like it.

No money for bail. Maybe the King of R&B should just put some money away in an “bail account” because he knows he is due two trips to jail a year. Forget Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills, you need to start saving for the bail relief fund. The King of R&B and his Diva wife were spotted yesterday with daughter Bobby Christina leaving Mr. Chow’s.

Kelis was arrested Friday in Miami Beach for yelling racial slurs at undercover cops posing as prostitutes. She was charged with two misdemeanors: disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Via TMZ:

According to the report, Kelis’ “actions caused people walking by to stop and form a crowd. The sidewalk was blocked by the disturbance, causing people to walk in the street and causing traffic to stop.”

Kelis, what the hell did you say?? Those random hookers on South Beach didn’t do anything to you…too bad they were cops and your stupid ass got ‘Caught Out There’. It seems like someone’s starving for attention. I guess that cotton candy fluff on the top of her head doesn’t bring in enough.

Bobby Brown started off his morning by bailing on the radio station that paid 20K in bail money to get him out of jail. Bobby Brown Arrested Again

Via People Magazine:

Bobby Brown was arrested on Sunday and jailed in Massachusetts for failure to appear in court and pay child support fines. “He was picked up last night outside his daughter’s cheerleading competition” at her high school, Patrick McDermott, clerk of Norfolk Probate Court in Canton, Mass., tells PEOPLE. “He went very cooperatively. According to the constable, no one was really around” – so his daughter was not embarrassed by the situation. Brown, 40, owes money to his former girlfriend Kim Ward, who lives in Massachusetts and with whom he has two teenage children: LaPrincia and Bobby III. “Yes, it is true. He was arrested yesterday in Boston for late child support payments,” Brown’s publicist, Phaedra Parks, told PEOPLE on Monday. “We are bringing those payments current right now as we speak.”

SMH, don’t you need a job to be responsible for child support payments? As of 8:00 PM EST, the King of R&B is still in jail and needs 19K to get out. That is how much he is backed up on child support.

Yeah, Brandy killed the person in the Black car.

Via TMZ

The California Highway Patrol has recommended that singer-actress Brandy be prosecuted for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. A CHP source tells TMZ his department has ruled out mechanical malfunction as the cause of the crash. The source adds that the CHP believes Brandy “was just going too fast” and “was the person at fault.”

If convicted, Brandy could face one year in L.A. County Jail and a $1,000 fine.

Ever since that “I Wanna Be Down” remix and her second album, everything with Brandy has kinda been a wreck . Did Scientology curse her for not wanting “to be down” 100%? Send up a prayer for the poor child. Don’t forget Ray-J . SMH.

BOSSIP’S List of the 10 Most Annoying Celebrities in 2006

Posted on December 19th, 2006 - By Bossip Staff

Categories: 50 Cent, Cassie, Kanye West, Kim Porter, Matthew and Tina Knowles, News, Star Jones, Taye Diggs, Wendy Williams

Posted by Bossip Staff

1. Most Annoying-Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce’s big lacefront glued-on weave has been seen everywhere in 2006 and hopefully in 2007 everyone gets a break. The industry has even manufactered a Beyonce clone. No one said Beyonce was the sharpest knife in the drawer but at least know what shoes you are wearing. Going into 2007, many Bossip readers were asking “without the Knowles machine pushing her, an above average stylist, and Jay-Z’s swagger, why is Beyonce worshipped again?

2. 25 Cent

From fake publicity stunts to promiscuously promoting the fact that he has been shot 9 times to surburban kids (we get it) or attacking Oprah Winfrey for not talking about selling crack and shooting Blacks, 25 Cent will forever be annoying.

3. Star Jones

Star’s self-admittedly Diva behavior has not been backed up by any Diva looks or Diva talent. These type of celebs usually get annoying very fast.

4. Cassie

The lack of talent factor really worked against Cassie this year. Artists can more easily get away with having no talent with Pop music but giving it a R&B feel is a definitely NO NO when you’re singing and dancing game is awful. Although Cassie has now hired top singing coaches to get herself together, she still has a very “Long Way To Go”.

5. Tina and Matthew Knowles

From those wack House of Dookie Dereon designs to hating on JHUD, the Knowles are annoying. It may be time to lean back. Oh yeah, they are ultimately responsible for #1 on the list.

6. Terrance Howard

The manpurses and the silly comments seem to prove that Terrence Howard has gone full blown Hollyweird. Being a more than good actor almost saved him from the list.

7. Kim Porter

Kim Porter who recently said that Diddy never loved Jennifer Lopez and always loved her (OK) and she knew Diddy would come back just seems a little delusional. And we thought she was smart for having all those kids and putting up with Cassie and the others.

8. Foxy Brown

From assaulting manicurists, threats of jail, probation, being kicked off radio shows, and rumors about being kicked off DefJam, 2006 was not a good year for Foxy Brown. We need to be reminded why Foxy is relevant. Maybe the Ill NaNa will be cool again if Jay-Z writes her rhymes again…but then again, his rhymes are not even working for him anymore. OK, Foxy will probably stay annoying in 2007.

9. Wendy Williams

A new show on VH1 for the Gossip Tranny is too much exposure for someone who looks like that.

10. Taye Diggs

Taye’s wacky comments on race and in particular his promiscuous generalization of Black women ensures he makes the list. Oh yeah, Taye saying if he had to sleep with a man, “it would be a well put together brotha, someone like Tyson Beckford” doesn’t help his cause. Taye who is is a self-confessed nerd can’t seem to get any cool points. Golly.

Honorable Mention:
Kanye West

Drunken antics at the MTV European awards, carving Fendi’s logo on the side of his head, and overall outlandishly crazy blurbs—”I should be in the Bible” gives Mr. West a definite nod for annoying ass clown of the year.

In an upcoming interview with Rolling Stone, Snoop Dogg says:

“The n***a threatened my life when he was in jail,” Snoop revealed to the publication. “N***as tried to get at me at concerts; they put my address on a tape. He was gonna give a n***a a Benz if a n***a cut my hair. All kinda f****n’ with me.”

In the Rollingstone interview, Snoop goes on to say he punked Suge Knight with his crip homies at the BET Awards (four years ago) and that he was ready to kill Suge. SMH, Snoop’s album is out so I guess it’s time to start talking tough. Snoop goes to so say former pimp, “Bishop” Don Magic Juan is his spiritual advisor and Bishop talked him out of killing Suge. The Rollingstone issue hits newstands Friday.

Exclusive: Tragedy Khadafi Interview: Discusses Maino Fight, Lil Kim, Mobb Deep, New Project

Bossip: B4 we begin, I just wanted to know what you prefer to be called…Tragedy, Trag, Mr. Khadafi, what?

TK: Tragedy is cool

Bossip: OK, Tragedy, I have a few random questions to break the ice…..What song do you usually sing in the shower?

TK: It depends on the mood I’m in—sometimes the Spinners, Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, etc.

Bossip: What is your favorite movie?

TK: Usual Suspects, Domino, Scent of a Woman, Braveheart, Gladiator, Anger Management.

Bossip: What was your nickname when you were little?

TK: Bubba

Bossip: Oh, that’s cute

Bossip: I understand you have an upcoming album, Blood Ballads…

TK: Uh, No

Bossip: Not anymore…why not?

TK: Well, it was like a mix tape thing…..
(Phone ringing in the background)

Bossip: Did you want to get that? No you’re cool…

Bossip: Maintaining your underground status…is that voluntary or do you think you would ever change up and go to a major record label?

TK: Um, I don’t really feel majors right about now. You have a few out there, but for the most part they are majors, just B to B. The approach just messes the whole game up to me. A lot of artists should go independent it would benefit them more…educate themselves in the business. Networking and making relationships with certain DJs—street reps things of that nature. It would more beneficial for them to go to an independent label and promote themselves with the internet…If you have good quality music you would be surprised at what you can do.

Bossip: You consider yourself the modern day Che’ Guevara, the Cuban revolutionary is that true?

TK: Somewhat, I feel I could come off that way. I read some literature on him, and I was gravitated to him and his story…he was a real interesting character…

Bossip: Did you see The Motorcycle Diaries?

TK: Exactly, yeah, you know about that?

Bossip: Yeah

TK: It was interesting, he came from a family that wasn’t necessarily poor…more privileged…he felt compassion for the people in the struggle and dedicated his life to them….that took a lot of integrity, honor, and principle on his part— in my opinion. A lot of people don’t realize he was very instrumental in helping Castro overthrow Batista, the president of Cuba at the time. Without Che’ Guevara that would not have been possible, but Castro was at the forefront, concentrated on more so than Che’ Guevara. That also made me gravitate towards him…on me a lot of people look at a lot of artists that I made and concentrate on them and tend to overlook me, so I looked at myself as that Che’ Guevara type of cat. In that regard, I consider myself….in rightness to him and his beliefs. I also read when he was about to be assassinated and shot in his back, you know, he was like “go head, cowards, remember you are shooting a man”. He wouldn’t even turn around and face them, they were beneath him. They didn’t deserve the honor of looking him in the face when they shot him, you know? I just respected that in my own twisted way.

Bossip: On that note, the rappers that you quote-un-quote made, what do you think of them now?

TK: What do I think of them now? I wish them well, I wish the best for them…no negative feelings towards them, someone gave me an analogy one day: holding vinegar and hatred to anyone inside yourself is like you swallowing the poison to helping the next person die….no harsh or bitter feelings, but at one point I did, I’m a human being. If anyone knows me they know I would give a stranger the shirt off my back, so just imagine what I would do for my friend or someone I cared about, but in this cold harsh cutthroat business, for the most part, I didn’t allow that to effect me in that type of way. Some may agree some may not agree that’s just their opinion…I wish them well….they realize what this business is really about, because once the smoke clears all you have is friends…you can’t rely on this business for friends. This sh*t is like Tinsel town.

Bossip: Do you feel the industry depleted the unity of Queensbridge rap?

TK: I believe the unity has yet to be discovered…as a collective form there are different entities, different artists, yet at the same time there was never a full union. Artists were just collectively coming together forming different groups at that particular time for certain reasons— to make money and do business. Outside of that in consideration of the fans, a lot of fans love Queensbridge artists and have yet to see this unity. That’s not the industry that’s like saying money changes people, I don’t believe money changes people, just money makes them more comfortable….show your true faces so they show who they are all along, when they didn’t have the money they just weren’t comfortable, and that’s when they’re putting on the mask. The industry has the same effect, the industry doesn’t change a friendship in that regard, but it just makes people relaxed and more comfortable with themselves. The industry could change people, but at the same time I gotta think about that cause you gotta hold on the integrity regardless. If that is who you are, that’s who you are, but unfortunately that’s not the case, you know?

Bossip: You know I have to bring up the incident with Maino…..um, with your response to that you were cool on it, you really didn’t retaliate too much…can explain why you didn’t …and take the higher ground and be a man about it.

TK: Basically it’s because I am a man, you know, aside from what people want me to do or want to hear I know the consequences and repercussions of real beef and war, I lived thru that. A lot of readers and listeners and consumers of music get caught up in the sensationalism of drama and beef. And I understand that sells. I brought up Capone and Noreaga that way, revived Mobb Deep in that way….the west coast effort of New York, New York….the east came back with L.A. L.A. Their careers were slowing down a bit, so it helped a lot of people. I lived through a lot of things in my little 35 yrs on this earth and seen a lot of things and aside from being an artist unfortunately more than fortunately the street life it’s not a pretty life I watched people die for nothing. I watched men die and lose their lives over nothing. And I realize the power of words— power and energy that words give off and excite things in this nation. I won’t participate in that anymore I know the power of words because I am a man. I’m not walking around on some happy go lucky sh*t, but I am content with my actions and my response to what happened. I’m not gonna be a fool, and be I’m not gonna be a savage… that’s how Tragedy’s gonna deal with it, that’s how Percy’s gonna deal with it. You know what I’m saying? At the end of the day, you got people in this business in the industry and corporate structure that are scared to deal with artists based on these type of things. I’m not trying to that artist anymore. I don’t want to be that business man anymore. Like I said in a previous interview on the subject, it’s counterproductive….I overstand he’s looking at it in a different light…he’s struggling trying make a name for himself …it’s kinda parallel to street life…when I was a young boy trying to come up…there were OGs with certain status…..I was like I gotta go after his head cause I gotta make it. That’s a young mentality, as a grown man I know beef is gonna rest. Nobody wants that….I don’t care who you are or who you claim to be on your records. I know better than that. I know that no man wants to sit in jail….one individual can go zipped up in a bag, and the other can go to jail or both can go to jail or both can go zipped in a bag It’s counter productive it doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t prosper and doesn’t make money. I ain’t the one to score points on either…so go figure, you know.

Bossip: So do you think it was a publicity thing, since he’s been riding the coattails of Lil’ Kim?

TK: I feel she been trying to carry him for the most part and I ain’t gonna sit and front…I mean if things aren’t going the way he anticipated in his career, it’s not as easy as it seems, everybody’s not built for this rap game. We look at the success stories and of course we want to follow those stories. I’ve been in this game for 20 yrs. since I was a child. But I’ve always endured it. I’ve have a lot of ups and downs…real high ups and real low downs…But through it all my medium is I’m still a rider, still a force to be reckoned with on the artistry side and business level putting things together, closing deals. I guess things ain’t working for the dude, I’m not gonna say it was a planned strategy…but he seized the moment so to speak which is an art-of-war tactics, that’s not gonna necessarily work for him. That’s not gonna make his career,You know what I’m saying, it’s a gonna take good business decisions, skills, talent and definitely gonna take not scaring the money away…you don’t want to walk in the office of a record label and the staff looks at you as a threat or threatening or violent. That scares the money away, nobody wants to do deals with you…I want people to do deals with Tragedy Khadafi. I want people to feel comfortable doing deals with Tragedy Khadafi or whatever Tragedy Khadafi brings to the table….especially since there is gonna be good business and incredible talent involved….

Bossip: Do you feel violence is a major issue associated with hip hop, especially with the Fabolous shooting and everything going on with that?

TK: I was just about to bring that up…you know you gonna have spin doctors that capitalize on situations and try to make the best out of the situation and some people that are gonna turn it into the worst case scenario. In regards to hip hop, hip hop doesn’t need that, that’s not what hip hop is based on. We got in this business for the most part because a lot of us love the music love a lot of us the business of it….you know, some people don’t…but ultimately to help build a better life….the opposite side of the spectrum is f*cking it up and not having a better life…that harms hip hop to a certain degree. Situations like the Fabolous situation, and again I hope he is alright, I hope he is safe and comes out of this situation with his credibility and dignity and his health…but where it transpired…at Puffy’s restaurant, that’s not good for Puffy…not good for Fabolous and everyone involved. I respect the way Fabolous handling it because at the same time there is a code of ethics based on a lot of things so to speak….for the most part not good for hip hop you got a man like puffy who carries a movement within himself who works years trying to get away from incidents like that. I watched a special on BET at 8 o’clock last night and I’m familiar with Puffy’s story we started out at the same time. I watched Puffy grow in this business and I have a lot of respect for him. You know, I don’t like to see anybody go thru unnecessary changes especially when they have nothing to do with it…the man is trying to build his empire make his thing stronger making his movement stronger. Releasing new records younger fans that don’t have him on their top 5 right now…it’s not a good thing, it’s a shade on hip hop…that’s not gully…I’m not feeling that….

Bossip: Speaking of top 5, who are your top 5 rappers in the game right now?

TK: I got different categories of top 5….

Bossip: I want to hear all your categories…..

TK: Ok, lyricists, lyrical dudes….of course myself, Jay, Nas, Jadakiss, Cormega
Hood wit it—Mobb Deep, G Unit, Dip Set, TI, Young Jeezy
Top 5 awesome type lyricist—–energy produces a movement themselves….Rae, Ghostface, Game, Ras Kass, Styles P
Old school 5—Slick Rick, G Rap, Kane, Biz, Rahkim

Bossip: What other type of music do you listen to other than hip hop?

TK: Oh Man, that’s funny, cause I really don’t listen to a lot of hip hop….. a lot of the dells, earth wind and fire, stylistics, Harold Melvin and the Blue notes, Donny Hathaway, blue magic, Gladys, Commadores…

Bossip: I just listened to Harold Melvin’s Bluenotes live in Japan the other day

TK: Wow, you gotta give me a CD for real!! I love that type of music, my mom would always be like you are not a child, how you know these songs…
Minnie Ripperton, Gladys… I’m just into that… I can’t forget my man, my man of all mans…Curtis Mayfield. That’s my dog right there, me and Curtis go hard together… If you go on my Myspace page I got a joint….called “Walk with Me” about Curtis Mayfield we are together thru-out the day, yeah…

Bossip: I think that’s all my questions is there anything else you want to add?

TK: yeah, my new group I’m working with, Proud Fam, they’re gonna be the next big thing trying to put Queensbridge back on the map in terms of new artists. A current mix tape Hustlin 101, hustlin for dummies…my new mix tape which is called The Boss: Money Makes You also working with Grammy nominated Scram Jones, closing his deal right now, also Havoc’s solo deal, steer a lot of artists towards independence….

Bossip: You mean independence from record labels or from being in groups, for instance, Havoc and G Unit?

TK: From the record labels…l don’t want to steer them from being in groups you know if that’s gonna help them make money. Just more so not get locked into a major, consider your options. If you’re an artist with a strong fanbase, why not put an independent project out, it’s not gonna hurt you. You’re promoting your upcoming major release as well as putting money in your pocket and giving you a position of power and strength of negotiations for future endeavors. That’s what my company All Marketing Solutions is concentrating on setting up independent situations for artists, of course making incredible music and getting it out there, promoting and marketing it the best way we can– getting exposure for these artists. I also want to get people towards my Myspace page .

Bossip: Do you check your Myspace yourself?

TK: Yeah

Bossip: It was nice talking to you and thanks for your time

TK: Thank you for yours and hit me up

Random Ridiculousness: Vivica Fox, Foxy Brown, Steve Irwin

Our biggest “when plastic surgery goes wrong” victim, Vivica A. Fox will have a recurring role on the hilarious HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm”. Fox will be playing the role of a Hurricane Katrina victim staying at Larry David’s home. Can not wait to see this!!

Foxy Brown, WTF, fighting over manicures and sticking her tongue out at judges….According to Reuters:

Hip-hop artist Foxy Brown missed a court date in her New York assault case on Monday, and the judge vowed to issue a bench warrant for her arrest if she failed to appear again on Tuesday. The recording star, whose real name is Inga Marchand, told Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson in a letter she was unable to attend the hearing because she was undergoing oral surgery.
The judge reviewed a number of motions at the hearing, include one by Brown seeking to withdraw her guilty plea. In August, Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting two women at a Manhattan nail salon in August 2004 by hitting and kicking them in a dispute over a $20 payment for a manicure Brown said she never received.

When the 28-year-old rapper learned that as part of 3-year probation she would be required to undergo periodic drug testing and attend anger management classes, she asked to withdraw her plea. The judge on Monday denied her motion to withdraw her guilty plea and said she was considering changing her promised probation time to jail time. Brown faces up to a year in jail should the judge sentence her to jail instead of probation. In the last 18 months, the rap artist has fired three lawyers, delaying her case each time. Brown has also failed to show up for other scheduled proceedings. She once stuck her tongue out at Jackson, which led to her being handcuffed to her seat in court until she apologized.

Crocodile Hunter’s manager John Stainton is upset about Ras Kass referring to the late Steve Irwin’s death in his lyrics.

Via SMH.com: “You’re the waste of LA/get blast up in LA/face down, ass up in LA/you the Crocodile Hunter, I am the stingray,” reads part of the track. John Stainton’s rebuttal:

“I just find it a bit sad that people have to stoop to that,” Mr Stainton said.

“It is disappointing. I can’t understand the point of it. There are other references they can make that will put the point across.

“I just think it is a pity that people do have to use Steve or anyone who has died in tragic circumstances … as a form of entertainment.”

Via Reuters:

Actor Wesley Snipes, indicted by U.S. authorities for tax fraud this week, is filming a movie in the African country of Namibia which has no extradition treaty with Washington, officials said on Friday.

“It is confirmed. He is definitely here,” Edwin Kanguatjivi, chief executive officer of the Namibia Film Commission, said by telephone. “He has been in Namibia since the end of August.”

Snipes, the star of the “Blade” movie series, is the lead actor in a new movie entitled “Gallowwalker” filming in the Namibian desert near the town of Swakopmund — the same coastal resort where Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had their first child in May.

Would you stay in Namibia or another no extradition treaty country or take a chance of jail time, go to trial and come back to the U.S.? Ronald Isley AKA Mr. Biggs was recently sentenced to 37 months for tax evasion.

Naomi failed to appear in court Wednesday to face allegations that she chucked a phone at a former assistant. Judge James Gibbons, who is presiding over the case, issued a warrant after Ms. Campbell was a no show but decided to stay the warrant until her next court date on November 14, according to the New York Daily News. Nay Nay get it together before they put your pretty ass in jail and please take some anger management classes. I’m tired of writing about your old violent ass.

Lil Kim’s Hardknock Life

Lil’ Kim’s legal problems aren’t over yet — though the rapper is out of jail after serving 10 months on perjury charges, she’s now facing a copyright-infringement lawsuit. The suit, which also names Kim’s record label Atlantic and was filed last week in a New York federal court, claims that Kim stole her song “Durty” nearly word for word from a 1997 track by Jamaican reggae singer Tanya Stephens called “Mi and Mi God.” In response, Kim’s lawyer L. Londell McMillan claims the song wasn’t stolen, but interpolated, “which happens all the time in hip-hop.” Stephens claims in her suit that she was shocked to hear her words in Lil’ Kim’s song — even though Kim had flown her out to New York in 1999, asked her to sing on one of her albums, and sang “Mi and Mi God” to Stephens to demonstrate how much she liked her music. Kim counters, however, that Stephens never objected to the use of her song until after she failed to get more money for it being licensed. “This matter should have been resolved, but it appears to be another money and media play at Lil’ Kim’s expense,” her lawyer said. Stephens claims she should receive all past and future royalties on the song. …
