Remy Ma 505

Remy Ma speaks out from the pen:

“‘It’s nothing. I’m in here chillin’ – eating mad mackerel,’ the rapper joked, quickly changing tone to a more serious nature. ‘I’m in the cell 23 hours a day – max security. It’s real crazy over here. You got certain officers that are extra nice and you got the ones that are extra not nice. I be telling them it’s not my fault that my commissary is more than their salary.’”

‘Don’t be mistaken about a jury that was not my peers. There was no tan [or] dark brown, Black – nothing – on that jury. It’s a whole conspiracy against rappers right now so I already knew what it was,’ she said.

The rapper insisted she would return for another interview, because she has ‘wild phone time.’ It appeared that her fiancé rapper Papoose was on the call as well.”

No doubt she and Papoose are working on those jailhouse wedding arrangements. Don’t be surprised to find that Remy will emerge new and improved after her stint in jail. Looks like she’s taking a page from Foxy – a little time in lock down seems to be working wonders for her.

Wesley Snipes & Wife

It appears that Wesley’s fate is spared – for now:

“Wesley Snipes’ legal team is appealing the actor’s federal tax conviction and his three-year prison sentence. The Blade star was ordered to serve jail time last month after Florida Judge William Terrell Hodges convicted Snipes of failing to file his taxes for five years. But his attorneys are set to challenge the ruling and they filed notice in the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday. Meanwhile, Snipes will remain free until he’s ordered to surrender by the federal Bureau of Prisons.”

He’s got his lawyers working overtime to keep him out of the slammer. We wish his tax-evading ass good luck with that. SMH.

sean.bell.family

The cops who shot and killed Sean Bell got off:

The three cops who killed Sean Bell on his wedding day in a 50-bullet barrage were cleared of all charges Friday – sparking tears inside the courtroom and anger on the streets outside. “The defendants are not guilty of all charges,” Queens Supreme Court Justice Arthur Cooperman declared. “The burden was on the people to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Each defendant was assumed to be innocent.” Cooperman said justification was used as a defense, he had to consider the “mindset of the defendants, not the victims. What the victims did, was more important to resolve the issues at hand than what was in their minds.” Continue »

A Plea for Inga

Foxy Brown 425

Lawless Foxy accepted a plea:

“Brown accepted a plea deal Thursday from the state that allows her to avoid time behind bars over a fight at a Pembroke Pines beauty supply store last year. Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, will serve six months probation. She’ll also have to perform 15 hours of community service, pay court costs and fines.

The 29-year-old also has to write letters of apology to the store employee she hit with a tube of hair glue and the store owner. She already completed an anger management course. The owner of the Queen Beauty Supply has a civil suit pending against Brown.”

Inga’s drama is never-ending. It’s seems the only way to stay on the scene when your career’s on the decline. Here’s an idea: How about spending less time in the courthouse and jailhouse and more time in the studio and on stage? Crafty heffah.

Foxy in Church 423

Foxy’s lawyer bailed on her:

“Foxy Brown, released from jail last Friday (April 18), appeared in a Florida courtroom this morning for a status hearing on her pending assault case in the state. [Sources say] her attorney Fred Haddad officially withdrew from the case because of “irreconcilable differences” with his client. While it is unclear what exactly caused Haddad to leave the case, local news channel CBS 4 reports that she may have tried to broker a deal with prosecutors without the lawyer’s knowledge. Broward County Judge Joel Lazarus gave Foxy until May 8 to inform the court of her new attorney’s name.”

We’re getting a little de ja vu. This heffah is nothing but trouble. We predict her next stint on lock down will be much longer than the last one. Scandalous.

Foxy Released

It’s safe to say that Foxy is in some sort of denial:

“‘I did almost a year in prison, a year in prison, just because my name is Foxy Brown,’”

No, Foxy. You got locked up because you’re a grown ass woman who throws temper tantrums like a 2 year old, ya crazy heffah.

Little Rudy AKA Keisha Knight Pulliam will play a role walking on the ho stroll opposite Derek Luke in Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea Goes to Jail.’ The flick will start filming next year in the ATL.

Walking the track in this movie is a big step up from that video girl work.

We wouldn’t mind taking a look at Rudy’s goodies in the flick.

Foxy Brown & Judith Marchand

Foxy Brown was released from jail today:

“As soon as she was released from prison, she was greeted by her mother Judith Marchand and lawyer New York City Councilman Charles Barron, as well as hundreds of reporters and fans, some with posters and pink balloons, others with ‘Free Foxy Brown’ T-shirts. Brown wore a leather jacket, jeans, a black shirt, designer pumps and a stylish Fendi designer doo rag over her hair.

Brown’s entourage arrived in a fleet of luxury vehicles that included three Rolls Royce’s, a number of SUV’s and a Maybach, that was filled with clothes. Her family, friends, managers and a hair stylist and makeup artist were all part of the group of people that greeted Brown.”

Wow. Sounds like Inga had quite a welcoming party. LMAO at her hair and make up stylist being front and center at the gates (time to touch-up those roots!!!). Congrats to Foxy for getting out of jail. They might as well save all the party favors, posters and what-not. It’s only a matter of time before she lands her crazy ass back up at Rikers again.

Akon the Illusionist

Akon

Akon got caught lying to boost his “street cred”:

“In past interviews, the singer has made it clear that he headed ‘a notorious car theft operation’ that specialized in boosting Porsches, Lamborghinis, and Mercedes, owned four chop shops catering to ‘celebrities and drug dealers,’ and had frequent run-ins with the police.

TSG, however, reports the real story behind his allegedly crimes and prison story. In September 1998, Akon was charged with handgun possession and receiving stolen property. He posted $3,500 bond and was free.”

Basically Akon was caught driving a stolen vehicle, but wasn’t charged with grand theft auto. A Federal Agent lays it out:

“‘Ah, this is bullsh**,’ he [said]. ‘This guy is so phony. He’s an arrogant SOB… I don’t think he had any role besides [wanting] to drive a high-dollar vehicle. And I say this because we didn’t link him to any other cars.’”

This simple-ass individual lied about jail time and thought he wasn’t going to be found out? These things always come to the surface eventually.

Click here to read this ridiculousness in its entirety.

foxy in jail

While marinating up at Rikers, Foxy Brown is preparing to star in her own reality show on VH1. It’s the typical, and pitiful, D-List formula: Cameras roll as they document the hapless wannabe hip-hop diva as she goes about her everyday life. Will it perchance document Inga’s impending hearing loss? That remains to be seen.

Remy Ma Is Next Down The Aisle

remyma.wedding.99

Love is in the air, and Remy Ma and Papoose are next at the alter. Like Beyonce and Camel these two will have a New York ceremony, but this one will be at Rikers Island:

Remy Ma isn’t letting jail derail her wedding plans. The Grammy-nominated artist aims to marry her fiance, fellow rapper Papoose, at the city’s Rikers Island jail while she awaits her sentencing for shooting a friend she suspected of stealing $3,000.

“They’re much in love. They’re very committed to each other, and they had intended to marry one way or another.”

About 200 weddings are performed each year at Rikers Island, which offers chaplains and chapels, said city Department of Correction spokesman Stephen Morello. Only two guests will be permitted, and the couple won’t be allowed to wear rings with protruding gems.

So they are really going through with it. How romantic.

Naomi is Full of Rage

naomi campbell 00

This broad is crazy:

“Naomi Campbell was arrested at Heathrow Airport this afternoon after allegedly SPITTING at a police officer. The supermodel was hauled away ‘ranting and screaming’ from the First Class Lounge of Terminal 5 after a row over a lost bag.

Cops were called and she was heard screaming ‘get off me, leave me alone’ before she attacked one and was taken away to Heathrow police station. An eyewitness said: ‘She attacked a male police officer and spat at him and she was taken to the airport police station.’”

Naomi is the thugged out supermodel of the ages. She’s straight gangsta. It’s only a matter of time before this nutty heffah does some real jail time.
