You can’t knock her hustle though, if all this ass-tooting is gonna get those albums sold then so be it.

A homeless dude saved a family from a burning building:

A Brooklyn vagrant on a breakfast beer run unexpectedly became the hobo hero of the hour yesterday when he raced into a Brooklyn apartment and rescued a father and two sons. Three other family members including a baby were saved by a selfless firefighter who gave them his oxygen mask. A seventh relative trapped in the blazing apartment was rescued by other firefighters, but later died in a hospital. The homeless man, Andre Nash, 45, kept his wits about him, using a beer-soaked rag as a mask and forcing his way through choking smoke in the burning apartment at the Lafayette Gardens housing project in Fort Greene. Nash admitted that he had just bought two cans of beer at a deli shortly before 8 a.m. when he stumbled upon a hysterical boy begging for help and pointing to the 11th floor, where a panicked mom, Sheohna Taylor, 20, was dangling her 14-month-old son, Roshawon, out the window. Rihanna’s dad speaks about the time he was caught smoking rocks among other things:

“I turned and looked Rihanna in the eye and instantly came back down from the high I was on. I saw her run for her mother, ask her something and then they both started to cry. I had no idea she had been watching. It was the lowest point – life just stopped and I realized what a fool I had been.”

When the Sunday Mirror tracked down the father-of-five in Bridgetown, Barbados, he was hawking tacky toys, perfume and household items from the boot of a battered Nissan car. Despite his daughter’s millions, he never asks for a penny and insists he’s happy in his work, which earns him around £250 (about $492 US dollars) for a seven-day week. He said: “The only thing I want is to be a part of her life. I have had her forgiveness, which you can’t put a price on, and I would never dream of asking her for a dollar.”

We’re glad he has gotten his life together, and doesn’t try to cake his daughter out of her dough like some parents do.  Ain’t nothing wrong with pushing random toys and trinkets out of the trunk of a Nissan.  At least it’s honest work.

After Obama made it rain on the shady Clinton’s over the weekend, winning in four states, this is how she explained Obama’s win in Louisiana:

“You had a very strong and very proud African-American electorate, which I totally respect and understand”

She then went and fired her campaign manager and hired a Sista. The foreign press are starting take shots at the shady Clinton’s:

The status quo fractured at the weekend. Something new is welling up from the body politic. I think it represents the beginning of the end of an era of dynastic politics. Will America vote for Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush, Clinton? Two families that would control the White House for 24 consecutive years? Something stale and static emanates from this possibility and I don’t think the American people are going to let it happen.

Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas shares a story about a shaving experience gone wrong:

“When I was new in the NBA the team veterans convinced me to shave, you know, down there, because they said the hair stinks. I used my girlfriend’s razor, which was rusty and gave me keloids. The doctor prescribed medicine to dab on, but I just poured it all over. Three days later I woke up screaming. The skin was burnt off my scrotum, down to my crack, everything — just raw flesh. I still had to run and play, so I used a numbing spray for a month until it healed. Now I use clippers.”

What man shaves with a rusty razor that belongs to a broad? SMH. That raw flesh pain sounds excruciating.

The ever creative Kanye West gave a glow-in-the-dark performance tonight, and had a “Kanye” moment when accepting his award for Best Rap Album:

“It feels good to be home. A lot of people said hip hop is dead, but that was just Nas. And Common, you can’t drop an album the same year as me. Come on – you gonna play music on me? I appreciate all the support and all the prayers. It would be good taste to stop the music there. I appreciate everything and I know you are really proud of me right now and I know you wouldn’t want me to stop and you’d want me to be the number one artist in the world. And Mamma, all I’m gonna do is keep making you proud. We won this.”

His performance was one of the best ones all night…he had the whole audience getting teary-eyed with his tribute to his mother.

Trina discusses the “liquid cleanse” diet and weight loss:

“Every time you’re hungry, you gotta drink the liquid. It’s pretty strenuous, but you really have to stick it out. I am not that little, and I’m not trying to be runway-model thin. I’m from the South, so I gotta keep the curves and the assets.”

Eddie Murphy was out in Las Vegas at the Bellagio this weekend and word is that he was rolling with a group of dudes all weekend and is mean and nasty as hell. Kelis made an appearance at the LA premiere for the movie First Sunday looking awfully soccer mom-ish. She is definitely one of the few people who could pull this one off, if she is pulling it off.
