Little Wayne’s ex is trying to come up:

Mega hit rapper Lil’ Wayne is about to relive the infamous tell allmy “personal business” drama once again, as his ex-wife is reportedly writing a book about her life with the New Orleans rapper. Antonia “Toya” Carter, who divorced Wayne in 2004 after a two-year marriage announced her literary endeavor last week via her MySpace page. At the tender age of 14, she became pregnant with their only child, now 9-year-old Reginae. The two married on Valentine’s Day 2004, with the marriage existing somewhere between Lil’ Wayne’s more public relationships with R&B singer Nivea and rapper Trina. While Carter blamed Wayne’s infidelity for the dissolution of the marriage in early 2006, she told the magazine that they continue to maintain a strong friendship, and that the rapper has grown to become a “better father over the years.”

Ok, we guess she does have some background, but who wants to read about that unless there is some crazy sex scandals or major dirt. That teenage love affair bullshyte ain’t gonna cut it.

Eddie Murphy retire from the movie making biz:

Eddie Murphy is dishing about leaving the movie business for good after the release of his latest film. “I have close to fifty movies and it’s like, why am I in the movies?” he said, adding, “I’ve done that part now. I’ll go back to the stage and do standup.”

Murphy, 47, said that while a “Beverly Hills Cop 4″ flick was in the works, he didn’t want to do it, because “the movie wasn’t ready to be done.” Murphy said he agreed to do “Cop 3″ because of the large fee he was offered. “They said this is how much we’re going to pay you. I said, ‘let’s go shoot it! I don’t care if the script ain’t right.” As for Eddie’s love life, the new bachelor [said] he is currently looking for a woman with “just honesty and some other things.”

Hmmm. Wonder if by “other things” he was referring to an adams apple and the old twig and berries?

Eddie’s most recent films have been sooo ass, he should’ve let that ship set sail years ago. The real question is: Sure, he may take the stage again, but can the brotha recover from years of doing wack ass kiddie movies ‘n’ shyte? Only time will tell…..

Lil Wayne tells VIBE about his syrup withdrawl woes:

“I saw a doctor – he gave me pills, told me, ‘This is what you take to get off it.’ I never tried them. If them b***hes work, then I probably gotta start. Other than that, it’s gonna be hard. What a n***a told me to do is start lessening my amount. So what I do, I tell m***as to pour it for me instead of me pouring it…I be patient.’”
