Antwan André Patton (born February 1, 1975 in Savannah, Georgia), better known by his stage name Big Boi, is an American rapper, song-writer, record producer, actor, and one half of the alternative hip hop duo Outkast. Patton had a strong interest in hip hop music, and met André “3000″ Benjamin while attending Tri Cities High School in the early-1990s. Originally Andre and Big Boi did not get along and considered each other “rivals”.The two eventually joined forces as Outkast and signed with LaFace Records.

Celebrities are really stepping up for the holidays, well at least in Atlanta. Akon, Big Boi and Ludacris had a food drive yesterday, handing out 2000 turkeys, greens, sweet potatoes and the fixings to go with it to families that are less fortunate so that they will be able to have food on the table for Thanksgiving. Hey, ladies, it’s one of your favorite 5 foot fellas, Antwan Patton, aka , Sir Luscious Leftfoot, aka, Daddy Fatsacks, aka Hottub Tony, or better known as, Big Boi, just doing his thang at the Domaine de Canton’s holiday dinner in the “A.” Perhaps he isn’t so little as we think about the type of activity a fella has to be involved in to earn multiples aliases.

Check out these final rehearsal pics of “Big”, courtesy of Big Boi and the Atlanta Ballet dancers, which debuted this evening. We’re relieved to see that Big Boi left the pirouettes to the dancers. This looks interesting enough. Hip-hop ballet is a bizarre concept. Kudos to Antwan for trying something new – but we think it looks rather comedic.
