It’s been reported that Beyonce was spotted wearing a massive wedding rock:

Beyoncé happily flashed a whopping hunk of diamond on her left-hand ring finger Tuesday night at her new husband’s concert with Mary J. Blige at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena.

Wearing a short black dress and big hoop earrings, the newlywed singer sat in a VIP area with buddy Usher. The two leapt to their feet to groove hard when Jay-Z launched into his hit “PSA,” with its lyrics, “I got the hottest chick in the game wearing my chain.” Usher threw up the diamond Roc sign, while Beyoncé showed off a telltale diamond rock of her own and waved her arms to the beat.

An unlit cigar dangling from his mouth, Jay-Z was in a good mood as he snacked on spicy French fries and coyly evaded wedding questions. “I don’t know what you’re talking about!” he said with a laugh when congratulated by patrons.

We can’t wait to scope that “whopping hunk of diamond”. Seems like Beyonce couldn’t wait to flash that bad boy either. But what’s with Joe Cool and his constant denial? We could call his behavior suspect, but that sh*t is just straight weird.

Mary found her dream home while house hunting recently:

“Grammy winner Mary J. Blige plunked down $12.3 million in cash for a Saddle River, N.J., mansion, ‘She fell in love with this one,’ a source said of Blige, who checked out several houses in the swanky area before settling on the 18,250-square-foot dream pad.”

$12.3 million in cash?? Just is case you were wondering, we now know those pockets are beyond phat. Her stack game is definitely on point.

Amy Winehouse was the biggest winner of the night. She better get her ass together quick, because with her track record of rocks there won’t be any Grammy’s period for her next year.

Times Union, a newspaper serving Albany and Saratoga, New York is reporting that some non-athletes may be involved in steroid use:

The names of R&B music star Mary J. Blige, along with rap artists 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry, have emerged in an Albany-based investigation of steroids trafficking that has already rocked the professional sports world. Information has surfaced recently showing those stars are among tens of thousands of people who may have used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone in recent years. Law enforcement officials have said they have no evidence in their sprawling multistate probe that customers, including Blige or other entertainers, violated any laws. Instead, they are targeting anti-aging clinics, doctors and pharmacists who prescribed the drugs. For many celebrities, the lure of hormonal drugs is their supposed, unproven anti-aging effects. Mary J. Blige’s album “Growing Pains” has moved to the No. 1 spot on the Pop charts. Her album is the 36th and last No. 1 album to reach No. 1 in 2007.

What a way to end the year. We commend Mary for continuing to make it rain on these measly little hoes for over a decade.

Change it up,’ or something like that… Because everyone’s saying yes to everything you do, everything’s cool, everything you do is hot.”

Today is the day for magazine covers. SMH. Jay-Z is on the cover of Rolling Stone, and Mary J. Blige covers the gay publication The Advocate and speaks about gay fans and homophobia in hip hop:

“The majority of my fans are gay. The majority of them are, and I have to really make sure that they know I’m paying attention to the fact that they support me, and I support them.”

“The real hip-hop, the real people don’t even care about that. They’ll love you and accept you no matter what because they know who they are. There are a lot of people trying to figure out who they are and what they’re gonna be. There’s a lot of confusion in that. Confusion causes a lack of identity. I’ve heard a couple of guys say foul things, and those guys are not around me anymore because when they say things like that, I’m looking at them like, What makes you so scared? You don’t know who you are? I guess it all boils down to them not being sure about themselves and what they wanna do, whoever that is. I won’t say any names.
