Ne-Yo discusses writing Michael Jackson’s new upcoming comeback album:

“I’m not trying to top Thriller. Anybody trying to top something that’s already been done is fighting a losing battle. It was a different industry back then, a different way of thinking and people were easier to impress. Everything in music has been done now, so Michael needs to find his place again.”

I guess it would be hard to top the creative genius of that Thriller album, but it hasn’t been hard for Ne-Yo (among others) to imitate the choreography. Honestly, I think Michael should just keep it in the closet, not really interested in him making a comeback even if the hottest songwriting mer-man (man mermaid) in the game right now is doing the writing.

First it was Kelly Rowland’s pick of the epitome of hotness—Orlando Bloom, now Rihanna tells Complex Magazine who she thinks is hot.

The world’s top modeling agency has launched a search for the”next big thing” on the catwalk. They are even looking in the hood near Paris, France. Duh, go to the place where you found the hottest chick in the game:

M. Attia said: “In going to the suburbs, we’re giving these girls the chance to be recognised in a field where they could go far. That’s really something.”

The new Naomi not only has to match up to her banger status, but make sure she is interrupted and knows how to smack a b*tch up. Yeah, she is going to need that attitude.

Mya recently attended Life Ball (Europe’s biggest AIDS/HIV charity) events looking a tad bit weary. Maybe it’s just me, but something is not quite right. She seems a little zoned out with that “I’m frightened because my album might never drop” look on her face in all these pics. At least she can be proud that she still looks good without make-up, that Heatherette dude in the first thumbnail has on more face-cake than she does and she still looks fresh.

Kanye West was spotted with his fiancee Alexis in the Bahamas over the weekend. “Ari” was also spotted with what looks like a paid-for hooker. Something ain’t right, both are not wearing any beards but then when you look again, you can see at least one.

Usher’s mother Jonetta Patton and Tameka Foster are beefing again. Via
New York Daily News:

“They definitely don’t get along,” one spy tells us. “Tameka came to Jonetta’s birthday on April 6. They hugged and posed for photos, but it was all for the cameras.”The rift dates back to when Jonetta encouraged Usher to fire Tameka as his stylist. “Tameka went on the radio and took some shots at Jonetta,” says a source.”Tameka has a hold over him,” says one friend. “Nobody can figure it out. Some people think he may make Tameka his manager.”

It looks like the mama’s boy loves his mother so much, he found a medium-sized Jonetta, only with about three kids.. How “sweet”. There is nothing like having your girl and mother fighting over you. This is definitely something to brag about while watching basketball with the homies.

The Barack Obama campaign was forced to distance itself from a sculpture of Obama as a Jesus-messianic figure entitled “Blessing”. The creator of the piece says:

“All of this is a response to what I’ve been witnessing and hearing, this idea that Barack is sort of a potential savior that might come and absolve the country of all its sins,” Cordero said. “In a lot of ways it’s about caution in assigning all these inflated expectations on one individual, and expecting them to change something that many hands have shaped.”
