Keyshia Cole’s reality show has broken records according to Livesteez:

The third season debut of BET’s original series “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” has just become the network’s most watched original series season premiere telecast of all time.

A total of 1.4 million households and 1.94 million viewers tuned in on Tuesday night (Nov. 11), giving the show’s season debut a 1.54 coverage rating, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The premiere posted a 10% increase in viewing among households compared to last year’s premiere, maintaining the series’ consistent year-to-year household growth with each season premiere (1.18 million and 1.24 million households for season one and two, respectively).

Additionally, episode two of “Keyshia Cole” aired immediately after the premiere and built on those strong lead-in numbers, scoring a 1.67 coverage rating and drawing 1.5 million households and 2.0 million viewers. Episode two of season three now stands as BET’s No. 1 original series telecast so far this year, according to Eurweb.com.

We love to the see the organized drama that is Keyshia Cole’s life, including her mom and sister acting a donkey. We take it ya’ll liked it as well. And if that wasn’t enough, her new album is due out on Dec. 16th. The album cover is certainly interesting, doesn’t look much like our girl Keysh at all…

Surprise, surprise. Keyshia Cole is about to put out an album that isn’t about getting dogged out by some no good man:

Keyshia Cole is staying on top of her game these days, as the R&B star can be seen on hair care ads, magazine covers, promoting her new album and BET reality show. The singer’s new CD “A Different Me,” is due Dec. 16 via Imani/Geffen/Interscope, and her BET reality show, “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” begins its third season tonight at 10.

“The first two albums were more … painful,” she says. “It’s a different me this time, a young woman who’s still growing and finding myself, exploring life through different routes musically and in other areas. I wrote more about other people’s situations than my own. I’m moving forward,” she tells Billboard in an exclusive interview.

“A Different Me” features Cole collaborating with Polow Da Don, the Runners, Neffu, Kwame, Orthodox & Ransom and the Trackmasters. Tracks include the lead single “Playa Cardz Right,” featuring a posthumous Tupac Shakur, “Trust,” featuring real-life friend Monica, and the Polow Da Don-produced “Make Me Over.” Cole further hones her ballad skills on the track “You Complete Me” and flashes a sultry side on a cover of R. Kelly’s 1992 No. 1 R&B hit, “Honey Love.”

You might turn your nose up at her family, but you have got to give Keyshia a little bit of credit for how she’s grown as an artist and personally over the years. And after her first two albums, aren’t you at least a little curious about what this 3rd one will sound like?
