Livesteez has reported that the rumor is actually the bona fide truth:

‘”Diddy is the funniest man I’ve ever met. I’m so lucky to find someone so soon after Eddie. It’s early days – we’ve only been on three or four dates – but he’s whisked me off my feet. I don’t know about wedding bells but he’s definitely the man for me.’

When this questionable quote from Tracey Edmonds was released last month, it was written off as inaccurate celebrity gossip.

Apparently there is some truth to this statement. Highly placed sources have told Livesteez that Diddy and Tracey Edmonds are in fact an item. It has been alleged that the two hold their secret rendezvous at a paparazzi free zone – the Beverly Hills Hotel – quite frequently. This is no huge feat for Diddy, who has recently been linked to Cassie, Cameron Diaz, and of course, old faithful Kim Porter. Sources say that although Tracey has been known to date men for professional gain, the fact that former husband Babyface and his young girlfriend are expecting a baby plays a big role in her quest for new meat.”

We hate to say it, but Tracey takes that whole “f*kin for films” thing to a whole new level. SMH.

Prince graces the cover of Jet’s newest issue. The legendary “Divo” who just turned 50, celebrated his upcoming book release with a private party and surprise concert at his palatial home in the hills above L.A. His guests included Eddie Murphy, Babyface, Diddy and Superhead who had this to say about the H.R.B.:

“When Prince is in the room, there are no other celebrities. Not when his majesty saunters into the room he’s magnetic and electrifying. The crowd became entranced.”

Check out Supa head gettin all poetic ‘n’ sh*t. But somehow, we bet ole girl’s telling the truth. Prince is one of a kind.

Babyface and his boo are expecting:

Kenneth `Babyface’ Edmonds is set to become a dad again – his dancer girlfriend is pregnant with his third child. The singer/songwriter, 50, has two sons with ex-wife Tracey Edmonds. Sources insist Babyface and his 35-year-old partner, Nikki Pantenburg, have no plans to wed. The baby is due at the end of 2008.

Damn, Babyface is 50?? He’s creepin up there.

Kimora Lee Simmons may be a a little jealous of Blood Diamond Russ’ new girlfriend, Porschla Coleman. Bossip exclusively reported Russ was dating Porschla early this year. Via New York Daily News:

Kimora Lee Simmons was a no-show for the Saturday “Art for Life” gala she was supposed to co-host with Russell Simmons at their East Hampton estate, which they share despite their separation. “Russell had a whole building to himself, and she was to take the another building on their estate so they’d never have to see each other, but she couldn’t even handle that,” says our source. Her rep tells us that she was busy in L.A., but we hear she was miffed that her ex-hubby ushered his new flame, model Porschla Coleman, into the event. Drama aside, celebs such as Forest Whitaker, Petra Nemcova, Heather Graham, Nia Long and Babyface showed to raise $1.4 million for the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Later, Simmons made his way sans Coleman to Star Room for the after-party.

The only issue here is Kimora probably wants Porschla for herself.

According to gossip columnist Janet Carlton, Eddie Murphy was dumped three weeks ago:

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds quietly split up almost three weeks ago. It happened before DNA proved that Melanie Brown’s baby was Eddie’s. Their biggest problem, besides the fact that Eddie is very controlling, was that they have separate social lives. Eddie likes to socialize with HIS friends and Tracey wanted to socialize with HERS. In order to keep both sets of friends happy, they started going out separately sometimes. But when Eddie goes out, everybody notices and Tracey would hear or read things that made her wonder. And Eddie didn’t trust Tracey out by herself. Suspicions arose and arguments ensued. Tracey’s feared Eddie wanted to run her life. (He can’t be the EASIEST guy to date!) She ‘d been staying at his house, so Tracey packed up her things and moved. For now, it’s over.

The career-minded Tracey just did a Babyface on Eddie, use him and leave him. I wonder how many people in Hollyweird Tracey met while attending all those events with Eddie Murphy?

NY Giants linebacker Michael Strahan is still hittin’ Nicole Murphy.They were spotted last week making out between courses at Philippe restaurant. Strahan isn’t too smart.

Babyface, his Tracey Edmonds replacement Nicole Pantenburg, and Gabrielle Union were spotted at Pure nightclub in Vegas over the weekend. On marriage again, Face recently told S2S Magazine:

I just think that-and it’s not necessarily in a reflection to my marriage with Tracey-but, just in general, I think that it’s unfair when you marry someone that immediately you become partners in everything, in terms of what you built for the rest of your life financially. That doesn’t make sense to me.

Tracey has her career-minded relationship with Eddie and Face has a Tracey look-alike, everyone is happy.
