Besides the fact that her feet resemble pirate planks, Ashanti looks good with the short crop and frolicking:

Ashanti has a ritual that she follows to get ready for warmer weather. “I rearrange my closet,” she tells OK! as she slips in and out of a dazzling rainbow of fashions at NYC’s Bowery Hotel and its Gemma restaurant. “I love all of this season’s bright colors,” Ashanti tells OK! of her fave fashion trends. “I like showing off my body, but not overdoing it. Usually, a high-waisted jean will make the booty look right.”

She looks really happy, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that she and Nelly are taking it to the next level.

Nelly has finally admitted that he and Thicky Thickums are an item again:

The rapper – who has kept mum about his romance with Ashanti for years – is finally ready to dish. The key to their below-the-radar relationship, he tells PEOPLE, is that they both love to have a good time. “That’s the thing between me and her, we just like having fun,” he said Sunday at Las Vegas’s Lavo club, where he was celebrating his 34th birthday. Although Ashani was in Japan and couldn’t attend the party, Nelly admitted that the two have been “hanging out for a minute.” (That’s a bit of an understatement. In fact, they’ve been linked on and off since 2003.) So is it serious? “I think it’s always serious,” he said, “when you can hang with a person continuously … and [“still”] have fun.” Earlier this summer, Ashanti would only call Nelly a “good friend.” But, she coyly told PEOPLE, an engagement could “definitely [be] in the future.”

Thickums must have clamped those thick @ss fire starters around poor Nelly and got him hooked. Perhaps she does have that “pop, lock, and drop it.”

Our favorite thicky thickums and her swole beau, Nelly, attended the Yellow Brick Road Not Taken Benefit in NYC. While we have been thoroughly enjoying Ashanti being thicker than a snicker lately, that whole above the knee region is starting to look like she might want to lay off the snickers for a week or two.

Ashanti and Nelly performed on the Jay Leno Show, but it looked more as though Ashanti was using the performance to make a statement. She’s seen her man in all those Sean John ads if you haven’t seen them, and wanted to let all the ladies know that whatever muscles ya’ll thought ya’ll were going to feel, she ain’t having it. And she brought her thick ass thighs as reinforcements. Keep bothering her man if you want to…

Yesterday, on the Wendy Williams radio show, Irv Gotti reportedly admitted to having an affair with Ashanti while he was the ‘married’ CEO of Murder Inc. He also admitted to being on Viagra and E’d up when he was hittin’ Ashanti during their affair.

This is not really news, just about everyone in the industry has fu*ked for some tracks at some point in their career. Even Kim Porter could probably tell Ashanti was Irv’s side deal when she was ridin’ with Murder Inc.

Vanessa Carlton signed with Irv, you know she has watched some Viagra pill poppin’ already.

After Nelly reportedly dumped Ashanti for creepin’ with Irv Gotti “again” and Bossip spies spotted Nelly flirting and looking very single at R. Kelly’s album release party and Jermaine’ Dupri’s cafe in Atlanta over the weekend, Ashanti has now taken Nelly off her Myspace. Irv is at the top!

The low-rent Joe Camel and Beyonce are over. Summer is heating up and you can probably expect some Nelly disses on Murder Inc’s new material.

Where is the “go to” place to see whether break-up rumors are true in 07? Myspace. Rumors are swirling that Ashanti and Nelly recently broke up and that she never got over Irv Gotti who has a wife and kids and was her “Boss” over at Murder Inc. Nelly reportedly found out about Ashanti creepin with Irv again and it’s splitsvile. On Nelly’s Myspace, Ashanti is suddenly and surprisingly missing. Mya makes the ‘ top ten’ Myspace cut though.

Not a good look for Nelly if this is true , dissed by Beyonce for Joe Camel and now Irv owns him with Ashanti. SMH.
