It’s Grey Ant, and if you didn’t know, you should ask somebody with some sense. The high-waisted jean was brought back by Grey Ant. Rihanna, Cici, and M.I.A. are a few stars that indulge.

Personamagazine.net caught up with the founder and laid down some questions:

Persona Magazine: How and when did Grey Ant get its start?

Natalie Levy: Grant started Grey Ant in 1998. He sold to local boutiques in Los Angeles and New York. The support we got from these boutiques is really why Grey Ant is where it is today.

NL: We’re doing a collaboration with Top Shop in the UK, another collaboration with Teva (shoes), and of course our on going collab with Urban Outfitters called Grey Antics. Continue…

NL: Well Grant and me are both huge fans of Martin Margiela and Brian Lichtenberg, Vivienne Westwood and Issey Miyaki just to name a few.

We receive tip emails asking what the artist are wearing all the time. On Saturdays we will break down exactly who styles them. Today we will start with Melody Ehsani:

What do Rihanna, Keri Hilson, Erykah Badu and Alicia Keys have in common… accessories made by Meloday Ehsani. Though a seasoned vet in ladies feet fashion, Melody is quickly becoming the rookie of the year when it comes to accessories design. In order to gather some intel on the method to Melody’s madness, Persona caught up with the young designer for this Saturday style exclusive!

Persona Magazine- So how did you start making Jewelry?

Melody Ehsani- Just about a year ago. I got my start in designing women’s shoes but I was asked by a friend of mines (Saul Williams) to do some design work for his album cover. I got a chance to do the photography, fashion and accessories design for that whole project so that’s where I got my start with jewelry.

Thanks to her extensive relationship experience (Bow Wow and No Cent), Ciara offered her two cents on Madonna’s ordeal:

CIARA has spoken out in support of MADONNA – insisting the pop superstar is strong enough to get through her divorce from GUY RITCHIE.  The pair announced their split last month (Oct08), confirming that their marriage has come to an end after seven-and-a-half years.  According to some reports, Madonna’s desire to adopt another child, her punishing gym routine, and a lack of support for her director husband’s filmmaking career caused irreparable damage to their union.  But the Material Girl star can count on one supporter to back her through the bitter proceedings – crunk star Ciara, who insists the singer’s 25-years in the public spotlight will help her cope.  The 23-year-old tells OK! magazine, “She’s a megastar, and that goes with the territory.  “But she’s definitely put her foot down as a woman over the years and she’s proven to be one of the best to me. She’ll make it through – she’s been doing this for a long time.”- WENN

Little does Ciara know, Madonna has not been able to refrain from tainting us all with her debauchery and nymphomania since around the time CiCi was born. The ink hasn’t even touched the divorce papers yet, but Madonna is already up to her old tricks and has been chopping down A-Rod.
