This week is officially Ted Williams’ week, after numerous interviews, appearances, even a couple of paying gigs, America has watched a homeless man rise to fame. However, Mr. Williams is not the first “trashy” celebrity to pop up on our radar recently. Pop “sensation” Ke$ha brought her homeless chic style “talents” to the scene last year, so the question begs to be asked…

But when Darrell Williams started TheLoop21.com in 2008, he brought 10 years of economic and financial know-how with him, adding a color other than green to the online financial community.  Williams started TheLoop21.com to spark discussion about economic and fiscal policy in the black community, with hopes of adding that dialogue to the mainstream. We spoke to Williams about the way economic policy is covered in African-American media, the future of the black community during the recession, the role of online publishing in American media and the future of TheLoop21.com.

Well it looks like Bill O’Racist Reilly smugness and his mouth has stirred up trouble once again! After his controversial comments he made on “The View” last week that caused Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar to exit stage left, he lured in a dumb ‘Uncle Tom’ to agree with him!

Former NPR talk-show host and news analyst Juan Williams made some unsavory Muslim remarks on O’Reilly’s Fox show “The O’Reilly Factor” on Wednesday night. Turkey neck O’Reilly asked Williams if there was a “Muslim dilemma” in the United States to which Williams replied,

“Political correctness can lead to some kind of paralysis where you don’t address reality. “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot,” Williams continued. “You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Well of course that buffonery of a comment sparked the Council for American-Islamic Relations to call for Williams head! They claimed that Williams statement about fearing Muslims is seen as bigotry. They also claimed the comments “irresponsible and inflammatory” and that NPR should not let this go without action. Watch the video of Juan Williams comments below.

Williams who is seen as an liberal counterpart on Fox to the conservative hosts or guests is not new to controversial comments. He once described First Lady Michelle Obama as having a “Stokely Carmichael in a designer dress thing going,” of course a reference to the former militant African-American activist. Fresh from her Wimbledon win, Venus Williams took her boyfriend, washed up golfer Hank Kuehne, out to dinner in London tonight.

Hopefully, some of the Williams’ talent can rub off on the divorced guy with a kid, he has failed to win a single professional golf tournament during his long career. We are sure he will have time to go on plenty of dinners this year. Venus is looking good. Does Hank look like he has an agenda?

‘Hank’ doesn’t have to worry about golf and things like money, he is a celebrity dater:

Hank Kuehne’s missed the cut in the last two PGA Tour events he’s played. He hasn’t finished above 135th this season and his highest finish last year was a tie for 49th. Think Kuehne cares? Think again. This is unremarkable pro golfer is a remarkable dater. His latest celebrity girlfriend is tennis star Venus Williams. Kuehne has even gotten Venus to come to the golf course to watch him miss cuts.

Now, that’s skill. Kuehne has been bringing it for years too. He dated American Idol judge Paula Abdul in 2000, back when she was a little hotter and a lot less crazy…. Just last year, Kuehne divorced from his wife (not Paula), apparently realizing she wasn’t a celebrity.

Damn, even the golf journalists know Hank has an agenda.
