Obama did his first interview since the Friday night debate with MTV:

Friday night’s often-testy debate with Republican nominee John McCain, specifically McCain’s repeated assertions that his experience makes him the stronger candidate and that Obama “just doesn’t understand” the complexities of issues like foreign policy and the economy.

“I don’t get taken aback by that kind of stuff. The problem was, every time he said it, when he tried to follow it up with an actual statement about policy or his positions about what it was he presumably understood or did ‘get,’ it didn’t make much sense,” Obama told MTV News’ Sway Calloway. “If you look at Iraq, for example, the question was asked, ‘What lessons have you learned?’ and his lesson was ‘Well, we should just stay.’ Well, that’s not a policy. Obama Comes Out on Top of First Debate

Obama flexed his political muscles last night:

Fifty-one percent of those polled thought Obama did the better job in Friday night’s debate, while 38 percent said John McCain did better. Men were nearly evenly split between the two candidates, with 46 percent giving the win to McCain and 43 percent to Obama. But women voters tended to give Obama higher marks, with 59 percent calling him the night’s winner, while just 31 percent said McCain won.

This is a very important time in America, and although it was a Friday night, we hope some of you had a chance to check out the first debate. We are glad to see Obama get a chance to silence some of the critics. Was it us, or did McCain have one more time to talk sh*t before he got his ass kicked? Obama is still a brother, come on now!

After falling way back in recent polls, the old man wants to call a punk timeout and postpone Friday’s presidential debate:

Republican presidential candidate John McCain announced Wednesday that he is suspending his campaign to return to Washington and focus on the “historic” crisis facing the U.S. economy.

McCain said it was time for both parties to come together to solve economic crisis.

McCain said it was time for both parties to come together to solve economic crisis.

The Arizona senator called on his Democratic rival, Barack Obama, to do the same.

The Obama campaign announced that Obama would make a statement shortly.

McCain also urged that organizers of Friday’s presidential debate at the University of Mississippi to postpone the event. “I am calling on the president to convene a meeting with the leadership from both houses of Congress, including Senator Obama and myself,” McCain told reporters in New York. “It is time for both parties to come together to solve this problem.” Video

You know how they try to change the rules and sh*t when someone starts beating that ass. You know that punk just needs time get his mind right and regroup. SMH.

Word is John McCain’s running mate is into some shady dealings:

On March 5th, 2008 Alaska”s Republican Governor, Sarah Palin, announced to the media that she was 7 months pregnant with her 5th child. She is currently 44. Palin”s daughter Bristol is 16 and attends an Anchorage high school. Students who have attended class with her report that she has been out of school for months, claiming a prolonged case of mono. Palin does not appear pregnant in any recent photographs. The announcement came as quite a shock to people who had worked closely with her, and have been quoted as saying that she did not appear pregnant whatsoever during the prior 7 months.

Covering up for her knocked up hussy of a daughter, ehh? Hmmm…not a good look.

Ludacris and His Big Mouth

Ludacris has received some heavy criticism over the lyrics of his new political track, “Politics: Obama is Here.” Unfortunately, Obama is catching some heat in the process:

Presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Barack Obama has condemned an endorsement song from Ludacris, in which the Atlanta MC criticizes rivals Hillary Clinton and John McCain.

The song “Politics: Obama Is Here” contains celebratory bars on Obama’s success (“The first is destined and it’s meant to be”), but turns venomous when Obama’s rivals are addressed.

Ludacris references the bitter Democratic primary battle by stating “Hillary hated on you/So that b**ch is irrelevant.”

Regarding Republican nominee John McCain, the rapper rhymes:

“McCain don’t belong in ANY chair unless he’s paralyzed/ Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped/ Ball up all of his speeches and I throw ‘em like candy wrap.”

Through his campaign team, Senator Obama released a statement condemning the song as offensive and typical of much of Hip-Hop’s current lyrical content. “As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to,” explained spokesman Bill Burton. “This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics.” Continue »

A Nation of Whiners??

John McCain’s campaign co-chairman and long time friend expressed his views about Americans recently:

Texan Phil Gramm [said] that much of Americans’ economic pain and uncertainty is psychosomatic [during] an interview with the conservative Washington Times. “You’ve heard of mental depression. This is a mental recession,” he told the paper. “We have sort of become a nation of whiners. … You just hear this constant whining, complaining about a loss of competitiveness, America in decline.”

Dig Obama’s response to that garbage:

“I guess what he meant was, it’s a figment of your imagination, these high gas prices,” Barack Obama told supporters in Fairfax, Va. “America already has one Dr. Phil. We don’t need another one when it comes to the economy.”

Naturally, McCain was quick to distance himself from that statement, although we’re sure he shares the same views. These Republicans are so out of touch with reality, and Obama was quick to call them on that shyte.

Click HERE to watch John McCain joke about killing Iranians. And dig what the Huffington Post is saying about this geriatric:

Citing what he called the “overwhelmingly positive response to my jokes about killing Iranians,” presumptive G.O.P. presidential nominee John McCain issued today a list of his favorite humorous remarks on the subject.

Titled “John McCain’s Top Ten Funniest Ways to Kill Iranians,” the list was published on his official campaign website at http://www.JohnMcCain.com/funnywaystokilliranians. (page has been removed)

Speaking in a video on the site, a smiling Sen. McCain says, “My friends, in these trying times in which we live, there’s one thing all Americans can agree on: killing Iranians is hilarious.” Continue »

Young Jeezy’s VIBE

Young Jeezy’s the front man for the Vibe’s August issue. The current word is, his recent TV appearance with John McCain left a bad taste in his mouth:

Young Jeezy was left unimpressed after appearing on TV alongside U.S. Republican presidential hopeful JOHN McCAIN – branding the politician a “fraud”. The 30 year old, real name Jay Jenkins, appeared with McCain on U.S. TV show Saturday Night Live in May, and questioned the politician about his policies and how they would help improve America.

But the hip-hop star wasn’t convinced by McCain’s answers, and is choosing to champion Democrat leader Barack Obama instead. He says, “I told [John McCain] the ‘hood was f**ked up, and he was like, ‘How you doing?’ (It was) real talk. They know entertainers, so they shake your hand (and say), ‘I’m your friend.’ But my mama is about to have surgery that I gotta pay for out of my pocket because she can’t get insurance. “I don’t really feel McCain. It ain’t just because Barack is black; he canmake change. Just like Bush equals recession, Barack equals progression. I really feel that.”

We can’t argue with Jeezy on that point. There’s no question. Barack Obama is the future.

Obama & McCain

In a recent interview by Essence Magazine, John McCain explained why he thinks Obama is not ready to lead the country as President. Here’s his response to the question of whether he thinks Barack is an appeaser:

‘”No, but I think we have very different…. No…absolutely not. But I do believe when Senator Obama wants to sit down across from the president of Iran who is dedicated to the extinction of the state of Israel and whose country is providing weapons that are killing young Americans in Iraq, that is bent on acquisition of nuclear weapons, then I would not sit down and have unconditional talks with him. I think Senator Obama is not experienced, otherwise he would not make that judgment.’”

Does this geriatric cripple even hear what he’s saying? It’s truly pathetic how these fools scramble in their attempt to discredit Barack. It’s as if they believe intelligent debate is more destructive than warfare. SMH.

Michelle & Barack

“President” Bush made some wack comment during his recent rip to Israel saying that Democrats (Barack) aren’t fit to defend the U.S. against terrorists. Barack wasn’t try to hear that ish. Here’s his reply:

“‘After almost eight years, I did not think I could be surprised about anything that George Bush says, but I was wrong, the president did something that presidents don’t do. That is launch a political attack targeted toward the domestic market in front of a foreign delegation.”

“If George Bush and John McCain want to have a debate about protecting the United States of America, that is a debate that I’m happy to have any time, any place, and that is a debate I will win because George Bush and John McCain have a lot to answer for’”

Check mate! These d*ckheads need to fall back and recognize – YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Message from Obama

obamas.jpg

After winning in Wyoming over the weekend, Obama won again in Mississippi last night and now has negated any delegate gains by that shady Hillary in Ohio and Texas. Here is what he had to say after his win:

It’s tough to think of two states more different than Wyoming and Mississippi. But we won Wyoming on Saturday, and we just learned that we won Mississippi by a large margin tonight.

Between those two states, we picked up enough delegates to erase the gains by Senator Clinton last Tuesday and add to our substantial lead in earned delegates. And in doing so we showed the strength and breadth of this movement. But just turn on the news and you’ll see that Senator Clinton continues to run an expensive, negative campaign against us. Each day her campaign launches a new set of desperate attacks.

They’re not just attacking me; they’re attacking you. Over the weekend, an aide to Senator Clinton attempted to diminish the overwhelming number of contests we’ve won by referring to places we’ve prevailed as “boutique”

states and our supporters as the “latte-sipping crowd.” Continue »

barackmichelle655

Barack Obama just released the following statement on the results last night:

Our projections show the most likely outcome of yesterday’s elections will be that Hillary Clinton gained 187 delegates, and we gained 183. That’s a net gain of 4 delegates out of more than 370 delegates available from all the states that voted.

For comparison, that’s less than half our net gain of 9 delegates from the District of Columbia alone. It’s also less than our net gain of 8 from Nebraska, or 12 from Washington State. And it’s considerably less than our net gain of 33 delegates from Georgia.

The task for the Clinton campaign yesterday was clear. In order to have a plausible path to the nomination, they needed to score huge delegate victories and cut into our lead.

They failed.

It’s clear, though, that Senator Clinton wants to continue an increasingly desperate, increasingly negative — and increasingly expensive — campaign to tear us down. Continue »

Obama tops in projected delegate leads:

In a surprise twist after a chaotic Super Tuesday, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) passed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) in network tallies of the number of delegates the candidates racked up last night. The Obama camp now projects topping Clinton by 13 delegates, 847 to 834. NBC News, which is projecting delegates based on the Democratic Party’s complex formula, figures Obama will wind up with 840 to 849 delegates, versus 829 to 838 for Clinton.

Campaign Manager David Plouffe said: “By winning a majority of delegates and a majority of the states, Barack Obama won an important Super Tuesday victory over Sen. Clinton in the closest thing we have to a national primary. From Colorado and Utah in the West to Georgia and Alabama in the South to Sen. Clinton’s backyard in Connecticut, Obama showed that he can win the support of Americans of every race, gender and political party in every region of the country. That’s why he’s on track to win Democratic nomination, and that’s why he’s the best candidate to defeat John McCain in November.”

We have MD, DC, Virginia, Louisiana, and Ohio coming up next, that shady Clinton is through, that’s real!!!!

Obama Rides on Hillary: Clinton’s ‘Experience’ Got Us Into This Iraq Mess

Barack Obama took the gloves off on Hillary (who voted for the Iraq War) today in Denver:

“I know it is tempting — after another presidency by a man named George Bush — to simply turn back the clock, and to build a bridge back to the 20th century,” the Illinois senator said in Denver.

“… It’s not enough to say you’ll be ready from Day One — you have to be right from Day One,” he added in unmistakable criticisms of Clinton, who often claims she’s better prepared to govern, and her husband, who pledged during his own presidency to build a bridge to the 21st century.”It is time for new leadership that understands the way to win a debate with John McCain or any Republican who is nominated is not by nominating someone who agreed with him on voting for the war in Iraq or who agreed with him in voting to give George Bush the benefit of the doubt on Iran, who agrees with him in embracing the Bush-Cheney policy of not talking to leaders we don’t like, who actually differed with him by arguing for exceptions for torture before changing positions when the politics of the moment changed,” Obama said.
