A riot is about to start in Atlanta,  Cali, and New York. Bow Wow sort of announced his retirement:

Bow Wow’s album NEW JACK CITY II will be his final musical outing – the rapper has announced plans to hang up his microphone for good. The star – real name Shad Gregory Moss – launched a career in hip-hop at the tender age of 13, when he released his debut album Beware of Dog in 2000. He has since recorded a further six solo CDs as well as Face Off, a collaborative album with R&B singer Omarion. And he has now decided to end his stint as a recording artist, insisting there is nothing left for him to achieve as a musician. He explains, “This is my last album because for me, there’s no more that needs to be done on the music side, I’ve done everything.

Wow, it looks like buddy boy got himself a hair cut. Omarion appeared to be having some trouble on stage while performing in Accra, Ghana over the weekend. Word is this “State of The Republic” concert was supposed to feature Sean Kingston and Fat Joe, but since Kingston was a no show, Omarion played the stand-in. More concert pics are below.

Bow Wow attempts to clear the air about the rumors that he dissed Omarion on “Lookin’ Boy”:

Bow Wow wants to know how a joke he made on his single turned into an Internet-wide rumor that he has a beef with his good friend Omarion. Well, he did make light of O’s penchant for wearing form-fitting trousers.

“It just shows you how uptight people are about certain things. The song is a joke record,” Bow [said] of the verse on the remix of Hot Stylz’s punch-line-driven “Lookin’ Boy.”

“Damn, them is tight, you’s a O, Omarion-lookin’ boy,” he says in the song. To make matters worst, at the end of the record, B-Dub adds, “I didn’t know me and you was gonna be going at it. I was just having fun.”

Bow Wow justifies thangs:

“O is my homeboy, and I even joke with O about how tight he wears his jeans,” Bow added. “He knows how tight his jeans are. That’s my homeboy. Everybody knows how tight Omarion wears his pants. It’s not a secret. So why is everybody jumping on me? It’s a fact. Plus, it’s a joke. So why wouldn’t I joke on my homeboy?”

There’s not love lost between these two buddies. Plus Bow Wow admits that his remarks at the end of the song were directed at another dude:

Bow said his remarks at the very end of the song weren’t aimed at O at all, but another one of his inner circle who rapped on the record. He said the friend — whose vocals were taken off the record — got on the song and joked on him real hard.

Whatever you say lil guy.

Lion-”O” has been reportedly dropped by his record label:

Singer Omarion is no longer on Columbia Records. A source at the label confirmed that the Sony imprint decided to drop the former B2K lead singer. Omarion (real name: Omari Ishmael Grandberry) signed as a solo artist to Columbia Records after B2K broke up in December 2003. His boy band was actually signed to Sony’s Epic division. Omarion’s management and production company, The Ultimate Group (TUG) has a deal with that label and released Omarion’s good friend and business partner Marques Houston’s last two CDs through Motown.

Too bad. He’ll be alright though. We know Chris Stokes has a little something waiting for him.
