Lil Wayne is influenced by musicians other than his daddy The Birdman:

“I am music. That’s me, Jack. I found a new love for music, and I got to owe it to a lot of people in the game. They don’t even know. I got to owe a lot to T-Pain. He made me really look at myself. I always look at somebody like, ‘I can’t do what you do, but man, I damn sure wish I could.’ So when I figure out what I could do about that, I go and do it. So every time I get a chance to say it, T-Pain, Prince, Wyclef, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz — all these are people I looked at the past two years. I viewed them seriously and was like, ‘Wow, I could do that without being totally them.’ I can present it as Lil Wayne.”

Wow, he put T-Pain in the same category as Prince, Wyclef, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, and Lenny Kravitz. That just goes to show you where the music game is headed.

In a new interview with Interview Magazine, Mariah Carey discusses how she got started, from hanging out with Lenny Kravitz to being held prisoner by her producer, record exec husband Tommy Mottola. About living at Tommy’s crib, she says:

It was like my second childhood there. We were all at the kids’ table. And if we laughed too hard at something, it was a problem…..This conversation that we’re having now would never have taken place

People think I just started experimenting with hip-hop and working with rappers when I worked on Butterfly album [1997] and that I just started working with whoever they saw me hanging out with, be it Q-Tip or Puffy or whoever, but they don’t realize that I’ve been a fan of hip-hop and using hip-hop loops forever – I had to sneak it when I was married and when I was in that system. The masses were not up on hip-hop, but ever since I can remember I was into rap – like the Sugarhill Gang is one of the first records I ever bought, and then like Grandmaster Flash. I grew up with hip-hop.

The things industry folks do and the people they hook up with in the name of love. Tommy Mottola doesn’t sound like he worked for Sony, sounds like that nicca was reppin’ the Taliban. She wanted to be famous and payed the price. Listen-up Kelly Rowland.

Lisa Bonet is rumored to be pregnant with the child of this bootleg Lenny Kravitz, Jason Momoa. The only catch is the actor was engaged to the woman shown in the picture for seven years before breaking it off for Lisa.

You can see the bootleg Lenny Kravitz on the sci-fi TV show, Stargate Atlantis. Zoe and Lenny were recently spotted talking a stroll in NYC.

Zoe Kravitz and her boyfriend actor Ben Foster were spotted in LAX snuggling up while waiting for their bags. Zoe kinda has that Amy Winehouse steez going on here with the f-ed up hair and dingy ass ballet flats.

We hope she doesn’t follow in Amy’s rocked out and alcoholic footsteps, especially with her previous experiences with Old English 800 malt liquor and claims that she doesn’t do “hard drugs“.

Zoe Kravitz spotted looking like a sleep walker at a Prada Party in New York earlier this week. In a past interview she addresses the pictures of her drinking a 40 that circulated the internet and comments made on her parents parenting skills:

“I was 17 in those pictures, and I’m sorry but find me a 17-year-old who has not had some beer!”

The media’s thirst to uncover the wild child in today’s young celebrities had everyone commenting on her parents’ lack of parenting skills. “That’s what made me the most upset,” she says. “I’m together. I’m not an alcoholic, I go to school, I’m not a crazy kid, and I don’t do hard drugs. My dad wasn’t mad, but he was like you can’t put your sh*t out like that.”

Zoe Kravitz was spotted with her new boyfriend actor Ben Foster at the premiere of 3:10 to Yuma in Los Angeles. I wonder what Daddy Kravitz thinks about his not so innocent daughter getting banged by older guys. He looks like he wants to bounce from the premiere and do a couple lines of coke.

The young actress unleashed her sexiness in a recent issue of GQ Magazine. Those bedroom eyes will get a man shot. Certified Banger!

Zoe Kravitz was spotted at the New York Tribeca Film Festival last week and she will be appearing in two movies this year. She will be acting in the romantic drama No Reservations, which hits UK screens in September, and Jodie Foster’s new silver screen offering, The Brave One, which follows a month later.

Zoe has also been getting some modeling work . Hopefully, the pretty girl will stay away from the rocks and be more successful than her mother. In a couple years, she is going to be a banger!
