Looks like the POTUS is looking to add a whole lot of star power to his re-election campaign.Everybody knows President Obama has lots of famous friends, but do you ever wonder which ones he likes best? Luckily, his campaign made a list of their celebrity picks, and wait until you see who’s on it.

The list, which was meant to serve as rundown of possible Obama surrogates for 2012 campaign, was leaked this week.There are some real no-brainers like Oprah, Chelsea Clinton, and members of his cabinet. But some of the choices on the list made us scratch our heads, like Jay Z but no Beyonce, and…Counting Crows. Hmm, Counting Crows, really? Don’t be afraid to aim high, Mr. President!

Is it a wrap for the Black Eyed Peas ???

The group is reportedly expected to make an announcement before the end of the week after it was recently announced that they were pulling out of Saturday’s Michael Jackson tribute concert due to “unavoidable circumstances.” Now British tabloid The Mirror claims Will.I.Am and Co are poised to confirm their break up.

Despite Will previously stating on Twitter that “BEP will never die”, a source has since told the tabloid: “Pulling out of this weekend’s gig is the final curtain call for them – especially as they’re all such huge Jacko fans.”

They added: “Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end.”

In July Fergie announced the group were taking a break, but claimed: “This isn’t going to be the last time you’ll see us.”

We wouldn’t be surprised if this is true. Fergie and will.i.am probably got tired of splitting the checks with Taboo and apl.de.ap.

We know they’re salty that willy let Fergie and her lady lumps come between them.

Everybody and their momma is scheduled to perform at this jawn!

Organizers are calling iHeartRadio Music Festival the largest live concert event in radio history. Tickets sold out in 10 minutes and are now going for quadruple their original price on auction and broker websites. Thousands of people across the country have called radio stations repeatedly in hopes of scoring free seats…

…When it was announced earlier this summer, festival organizers promised an unprecedented lineup from different genres, and they have delivered some big-name acts in pop, rock and country music.

On Friday, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, The Black Eyed Peas, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson and Jane’s Addiction will perform. Saturday brings to the stage Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Kenny Chesney, Nicki Minaj, Rascal Flatts, David Guetta and Sublime with Rome. Usher, Sting, Jeff Beck and DJ Pauly D are also scheduled to make special guest appearances.

Fergie and the Pussycats are taking a break from each other…rejoice!

The band that’s been polluting ears for years with songs like “My Humps” and “Imma Bee” announce during a recent performance that they would stop making music together indefinitely. This means Will.i.am and Fergie will go on to release more solo albums and the other two guys will do…um…whatever it is they do…but solo instead.

Will confirmed the split and co-signed that it would be “indefinite” but not “permanent”: “The @Bep will take a break after the beginning…just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d…but it doesn’t mean we stop creating.”

No word yet on if Obama is going to declare the day the BEP break up as a national holiday or not, but he probably should. Score one for good music!

The Black Eyed Peas are set to take them successful careers into a new realm, with a new video game coming soon for Xbox 360 and Wii.

The Black Eyed Peas Experience game, created by the makers of Just Dance and Michael Jackson: The Experience video games, will allow BEP fans to dance along to the group’s greatest hits, with new dance routines choreographed by the band’s creative director Fatima Robinson.

FORBES Magazine dropped it’s list of the highest-paid musicians today, and we can’t say we were very surprised at the names on the list.

According to the list, U2, Bon Jovi, Elton Jon, Lady Gaga and Michael Buble made more money than all other musicians who qualified for the list.. Not a single urban artist made the top five, and only one made the top ten on that list. In total, only 6 urban acts made the list at all… and we’re pretty sure you know who they were.

Black Eyed Peas rapper apl de ap was spotted partying like a rock star at the VIP Room during the Cannes Film Festival. The half-black, half-Filipino entertainer seems like quite an interesting character. Would you hit it?

This PYT seems to enjoy his company. We wonder if those goggles he’s rockin’ do anything to help improve his vision. apl revealed earlier this year that he is legally blind in both eyes from nystagmus.

The Hawaiian-born singer Nicole Scherzinger stripped off her House of Infinite Radness leather trench coat to reveal a neon bodysuit while performing material from her debut Killer Love, including singles “Poison” and “Don’t Hold Your Breath.”

The Black Eyed Peas got the party started with their smash hits, and the U.K.’s own Tinie Tempah and a long-haired Jessie J received a warm reception from their hometown fans.
