With last Sunday’s suspect performance at the BET Awards, its not surprising that Drake would apologize for the R-Kelly inspired performance put on by him and Lil Wayne. Is it just us or does Lil Wayne seem to be on a path of self-destruction? He needs Jesus in his life. Fareal.

Drake sat down recently and discussed the Kanye collaboration on his new video, the BET Awards melee, and his ACL tear:

Complex: Kanye is known as kind of a control freak. How was it working with him on set with him directing?

Drake: Me and Kanye have a great eye to eye. I can’t speak for anybody else, but I would give Kanye the utmost credit for actually being one of the most understanding creative people that I have worked with. I think me and Kanye have mutual respect for each another and I listen to what he has to say regardless, ’cause I trust him. I don’t really fight his suggestions [Laughs.] But he was great. Drake is going to court over bootlegging scam of several of his thousand songs:

Toronto rapper Drake is such a hot artist that one of his albums is selling even though he didn’t release it. An unauthorized album, “The Girls Love Drake,” which features selections from Drake’s mixtape “So Far Gone” and other tracks, was released May 28 by a label called Canadian Money Entertainment and distributed by the Independent Online Distribution Alliance (IODA) on iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon.

Drake’s camp, which is still trying to clear permissions for the samples on “So Far Gone” and his two other mixtapes in hopes of selling them in stores, said it didn’t authorize the release. If it hadn’t been disqualified on the grounds that it wasn’t an official album, Continue »
