The lil’ cutie, LeToya Luckett, lended her star status for the purposes of informing the youth at McNair High School that growth and learning is always good:

LeToya got a special invite by “Its Cool To Be Smart” to come out and speak to the school. The speech consisted of some motivational words, encouraging the kids to study, pass classes and to further their education after graduation. She also spoke on the subject of violence and domestic abuse.

Those kids may not realize it now, but their checking and savings accounts will give them a deeper appreciation for exactly how cool is to be smart later on.  And you can take that to the bank, hmph.
