Star Jones’ friends are talking hella yang about the lawyer turned TV personality, saying fears about her chef boyfriend moving to a new city have her gobbling up over 5,000 calories a day when she is supposed to be on a strict diet of less than 2,000.

Friends fear the worst as STAR goes super-nova, packing on the pounds in a face stuffing orgy of 5,000 calories a day following a crushing emotional blow less than a decade after undergo­ing weight-loss surgery.

The former “View” co-host was devastated after her boyfriend, executive chef Herb Wilson, moved from New York to Las Vegas for work, because she fears it may signal the end of their relationship. Now she’s stunned those close to her by turning to food for comfort…and gaining at least 37 pounds in just a matter of months!

“Star’s turned back to her first love – food – for comfort,” said a friend.

“She knows it’s dangerous, but there are days she’s so sad she snacks on junk food all day.

“Star knows over time she and Herb will see less and less of one another and, besides, there are so many beautiful women in Vegas that eventually he will start to date someone else.

“Star feels it’s inevitable.”

Star and Herb dated briefly in 2000 and then rekindled their romance after her marriage to Al Reynolds broke up in 2008.

Now, Star’s friends and family are terrified that she is putting her health in jeopardy.

She has suffered from numerous medi­cal woes in the past, including breathing difficulties and other weight-related issues. In 2003, she under­went “keyhole” gastric bypass surgery in a last-ditch effort to lose weight, and in 2006, she suffered bleeding complications follow­ing breast-lift surgery. Then, two years ago, she had open heart surgery.

Although she’d been doing well with her diet program, sources say Herb’s depar­ture has sent her into a tailspin and she’s turned to her old favorites to deal with the loneliness.

“She loves the breakfast sandwiches from fast food restaurants, mac and cheese for lunch and sometimes a whole pizza for dinner,” revealed the friend.

“But the worst is at night when she’s home alone. She’ll sit in bed, watching TV, downing a couple of double cheeseburgers and orders of fries.

“She’s past the 5,000 calorie-a-day mark but should be eating less than 2,000.”

Star, who admitted weighing 307 pounds at her heaviest, lost about 160 following her stomach bypass. But now she’s pushing 185, with no end in sight, says the friend. “She understands gaining weight for her is especially dangerous, but that doesn’t make it any easier,” the friend added.

What happened to all her confidence? How can this broad sabotage all the hard work she’s put in out of the FEAR dude is gonna leave her. SMH. Eat right so that if he does you can find a new man Star! Don’t be eating double cheeseburgers in bed and isht.

Doctors in Peru said they will operate today on a 3-year-old boy to remove the body of his would-be twin.

The boy, 3-year-old Isbac Pacunda, has the body of his twin inside his stomach – bones, eyes and even hair on the cranium. Dr. Carlos Astocondor, a plastic surgeon at the Las Mercedes Hospital in Chiclayo, told the Associated Press that the partially formed fetus weighs about a pound and a half and is nine inches long.

The condition is called fetus-in-fetu and happens in about one of every 500,000 live births, Astocondor said. He and a team of 12 doctors will surgically remove the tissue from the boy’s stomach today.

The case spotlights the biological precision needed for twins to develop in the womb. Identical twins form when an egg splits in half just after fertilization. If the egg fails to fully separate, conjoined twins will form, sharing some portion of their bodies.

Dr. Jonathan Fanaroff, a neonatologist at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, told ABC News that some conjoined twins can live as “parasites,” relying on the body of the other for a blood supply and organ function. But for fetus-in-fetu, the body of one twin envelops the other during development.

“In this kind of situation, because it was inside the other boy, it wasn’t able to survive,” Fanaroff said.

This is sad, curious, and kind of disgusting all at the same damn time…

Three white Chicago teens, fuming over an interracial romance, wrapped a noose around the neck of a black high school classmate at knifepoint, police said.

The racially-charged assault occurred two days before Christmas 2011 when the victim was lured to one of the boy’s homes and then attacked, police said Wednesday as details of the case became public.

The three suspects — who showered the victim with racist invective while threatening his life — were arrested Jan. 10 on hate crime charges, police said.

All four teens attended Brother Rice High School in Chicago. The white kids were incensed over a developing relationship between the 17-year-old victim and the cousin of one suspect, police said.

The victim told Fox Chicago News that one of the three suspects pulled a knife and warned him, “Stop talking to my cousin. You are annoying her. If you don’t stop, I’m going to kill you.”

Mark Herrmann, 18, was charged as an adult with the hate crime, unlawful restraint and battery.

A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old classmate were charged with the same crimes as juveniles, with the younger one facing an additional aggravated assault count for pulling a knife, police said.

The victim was beaten by the three suspects before the noose was knotted and slipped around his neck. The assailants unleashed a torrent of racist remarks during the attack, police said.

The trio refused to let the youth leave, although he eventually managed to escape and tell his family what happened.

The family then went to officials at the all-boys Catholic high school to complain.

Lil’ bastards! These muhfuggas are gonna learn a LOT about race “relations” when they get to prison.

Poor thang! DMX was rushed straight to the hospital in North Carolina yesterday after getting sick on his flight from Miami.

According To TMZ reports:

DMX had the plane ride from Hell last night — throwing up all the way from Miami to Charlotte, and then rushing straight to the hospital after landing.

According to DMX, he had some “bad shrimp” at his baby mama’s house in Miami before he got on a plane — commercial — and then spent most of the flight tossing his cookies in the lavatory.

X tells us … as soon as he touched down he went to Gastonia Memorial Hospital outside of Charlotte … by limousine. Puking, but still balling!!

X spent about four hours in the emergency room getting treated for food poisoning, and then headed home.

No limo ride home though. A friend picked him up.

Mmmm hmmm, baby mama fixed you good.

It’s been a rough few months down under for Kevin Federline. The ex-husband of Britney Spears was hospitalized for chest pains during a challenge for the Australian weight loss reality show “Excess Baggage” Monday morning. According to reports, Federline was participating in a challenge with an Australian football team that required him to do their standard running and catching warm-up drill. The 33-year-old then experienced a “roaring pulse” and signs of a minor cardiac arrest before being taken to the Mt Druitt Hospital, where he is expected to stay overnight. Reports that Federline had experienced a heart attack are false.

Federline, a former back-up dancer, was previously hospitalized in December for heat stress while filming the same show in the deserts of Outback Western Australia. He clocked in at 105.4 kilograms at the beginning of the program, or 232 pounds.

There’s nothing funny about this one. Tracy Morgan was being honored at a Sundance Film Festival event yesterday when sources say he was acting extremely intoxicated. The comedian ended up FALLING OUT after the event, but his rep says he had nothing to drink and blames it on the altitude.

According to TMZ reports:

Tracy Morgan was rushed to a hospital at the Sundance Film Festival — after the actor fell unconscious at an award ceremony … TMZ has learned.

Tracy was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards in Park City, Utah — and sources tell TMZ, he appeared extremely intoxicated during his award acceptance speech.

We’re told Tracy was escorted out of the building soon after his speech — and fell unconscious outside the building.

Law enforcement sources tell us, an ambulance was then dispatched to Tracy’s location.

We’re told Tracy was picked up and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Amy Roberts, a spokeswoman for Park City Medical Center, tells TMZ no drugs or alcohol were found in Tracy’s system upon medical evaluation.

Morgan’s rep, Lewis Kay, also released a statement saying, “From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention.”

Kay adds, “He is with his fiancée and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false.”

Tracy make sure you keep rested! It might sound crazy but altitude really can have some crazy effects on folks.

Violent sex crimes committed by active U.S. Army soldiers have almost doubled over the past five years, due in part to the trauma of war, according to an Army report released on Thursday.

Reported violent sex crimes increased by 90 percent over the five-year period from 2006 to 2011. There were 2,811 violent felonies in 2011, nearly half of which were violent felony sex crimes. Most were committed in the United States.

One violent sex crime was committed by a soldier every six hours and 40 minutes in 2011, the Army said, serving as the main driver for an overall increase in violent felony crimes.

Higher rates of violent sex crimes are “likely outcomes” of intentional misconduct, lax discipline, post-combat adrenaline, high levels of stress and behavioral health issues, the report said.

There is no excusing this kind of behavior whatsoever, but as we saw last week, soldiers may be dealing with mental health issues that may severely affect their judgment and attitude.

The top five violent felony offenses committed by soldiers in 2011 were aggravated assault, rape, aggravated sexual assault, forcible sodomy and child pornography.

Soldiers suffering from issues such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury, and depression have been shown to have higher incidences of partner abuse, according to the report.

Soldiers with PTSD are up to three times more likely to be aggressive with their female partners than those without such trauma, the report said.

This is as sad as it is disturbing. If you have Armed Forces members amongst your family or friends, encourage them to seek counseling and treatment if they appear to be having trouble readjusting to civilian life.

The controversial Food Network star — known for her over-the-top fatty Southern cuisine — says despite her condition, she intends to live her life the way she wants.

Sure, live how you want to, you’re gonna die anyway…

Deen’ posted this message to her website:

“Hey ya’all. I’m here to share something with you. A while back I was told that I have Type 2 Diabetes. I wasn’t about to change my life, but I have made simple changes in my life, like cutting back on one of my favorite things — sweet tea! And for a Southern girl, that’s a big deal. And I’m taking more walks with my husband Michael and I’m running after our grandchildren. And I love it all.
“Over the years, many of you with Diabetes, have asked me for ways to make some of my recipes a little lighter. That’s why Bobby, Jamie, and I are so excited to have teamed up with Novo Nordisk because together we’re going to be here to provide you with new ways to approach lighter cooking while still keeping it light and delicious.

True to form, the menu at her Savannah, Georgia restaurant The Lady & Sons includes such gut-busting offerings as pulled pork, meatloaf sandwich with mayonnaise, mac and cheese, Southern fried chicken, peach cobbler and gooey butter cakes.
