Ray J Hospitalized After Billboard Awards

According to TMZ Reports:

Ray J crashed and burned the morning after the Billboard Music Awards … and landed in the hospital … TMZ has learned.

We’re told Ray J was extremely upset after his confrontation with Whitney Houston’s family — notably Pat Houston — during the awards ceremony. On Monday morning, someone went into Ray J’s hotel room and realized the singer was “out of it” and couldn’t get out of bed.

We’re told Ray J was extremely disoriented and was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance.

As for what happened … it’s looking like a combo of exhaustion and dehydration. Ray J had just returned from a quick, 32-hour round trip to China for business and when he landed he immediately drove 4 hours to Las Vegas for the awards show.

Ray J is still in the hospital. No word on when he’ll be released.

Hopefully homie is ok, and just needs some rest. We know Whitney’s family doesn’t have him shook like that.

Boxer Nick Casal Attacked By Girlfriend’s Ex-Boyfriend With Golf Club

Jr welterweight Nick Casal (22-4-1, 17 KOs) was brutally attacked last night in Buffalo, New York. Casal was out with his girlfriend when from he was brutally attacked from behind by a gang wielding golf clubs. The attackers were identified as her ex-boyfriend and his friends. Medical reports are that Casal has a possible broken arm, multiple lacerations, including one at least 12 inches long. Casal was in preparation for the biggest fight of his career on June 29th in his hometown of Niagara Falls against Ruslan Provodnikov (21-1, 14 KOs) for the WBO Inter-Continental title. The fight was to be the main event of a nationally televised card on ESPN2′s Friday Night Fights. Obviously Casal will now not be able to fight on this date.

Boxing360 founder/promoter Mario Yagobi who promotes Casal released the following statement. “First of all I just want to thank God Nick Casal is alive and we ask everyone to pray for his health and a full recovery. We hope the boxing community will come together to help a fellow fighter in time of need. Rick Ross Cancels Concert In Guyana Due To Medical Emergency

The Hits and Jams Entertainment group says US Rap artiste, Rick Ross has cancelled his trip to Guyana because he has fallen ill.
The company said due to ” unforeseen circumstances beyond our control,” Ross would be unable be here to headline the Easter Fest Rozay Monday show billed for the Guyana National Stadium.

“Rick Ross’ management this (Sunday) evening informed management at Hits and Jams that the artiste has suffered a medical emergency and has been ordered by his doctors not travel.
His management has given an undertaking that once he is cleared by doctors they are willing to work on an alternative date for the Guyana show,” the entertainment agency said in a statement.

Hits and Jams Entertainment, however, said it has decided to go ahead with the Easter Monday show featuring Jamaican artiste Vegas.

You would think after having 2 seizures in one day the “big belly rudebwoy” would take care of himself a lil’ better.

Ungh, God forgives, high cholesterol don’t…

Rick Ross is reported to have suffered a seizure before a performance in Houston on Easter Sunday, but there may be much more to this story. While a source has confirmed the news of Rick Ross’ seizure, another source is saying that money is at the root of this rumor.

Rick Ross’ performance at the Bayou Music Center was cancelled because of his seizure, according to the venue and the promoters. But reports are swirling that the promoters didn’t pay Rick Ross, so they started the seizure rumor to explain why Rick Ross was a no-show.

If the reports about Rick Ross suffering a seizure are true, this would be the third time this has happened to him in less than six months. Rick Ross has not yet confirmed or denied these rumors about his health. He has not tweeted out any messages since Easter, but there have been some retweets unrelated to his well-being.

Soul Singer Bobby Womack Is Released From Hospital After Pneumonia Recovery

Soul singer Bobby Womack has been released from the hospital following a successful recovery from pneumonia.

The cancer-stricken Womack also is scheduled to undergo surgery at a later date.

In a statement through his New York publicist, the 68-year-old Womack thanked his fans for their prayers, love and well wishes, and says he looks forward to when he tours in support of his upcoming album.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee is known for such hits as Lookin’ For a Love, and That’s the Way I Feel About Cha. Womack also wrote the early Rolling Stones’ hit It’s All Over Now.

The Bravest Man in the Universe comes out later this summer on XL Recordings.

Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba remained in critical condition in intensive care on Monday, two days after suffering a cardiac arrest during an FA Cup match at Tottenham.

The 23-year-old Muamba’s heart only started beating on its own again when he arrived at a London hospital’s heart attack unit on Saturday night.

“Fabrice Muamba’s heart condition is stable, but he remains critically ill in intensive care,” the London Chest Hospital and Bolton said Monday in a joint statement.

The player’s fiancee has been issuing pleas on Twitter for the health of Muamba, who proposed on Valentine’s Day. The couple has a 3-year-old son, Joshua.

Bolton’s next match, at Aston Villa on Tuesday in the Premier League, has been postponed. The team is scheduled to play Blackburn on Saturday, and then could face Tottenham again next week in the FA Cup at White Hart Lane to replay the quarterfinal match that was abandoned on Saturday following Muamba’s collapse.

“I know the decision will have to be made, but the immediate thoughts are with Fabrice,” Bolton captain Kevin Davies said about the possibility of Bolton pulling out of the FA Cup. “I’m sure the club will take a stance on it in the next couple of days.”

Muamba’s team is very concerned about why their star player suffered such a debilitating illness.

Uncertainty lingers about what caused the cardiac arrest in Muamba, who has played 33 times for England’s under-21 team and was described by former Birmingham manager Steve Bruce as “one of the fittest players I have managed.”

The Professional Footballers’ Association said there are annual heart screenings for players.

“While we have been able to pick up quite a number (of heart defects) and then been able to put them right, it is not always possible,” PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor told The Associated Press. “This sometimes happens to young men and women who would be the last people you would think about having such a defect, and then suddenly it is found out.”

If one of the “fittest players” in the world can collapse like this what do you think will happen to you if you don’t get off your arse and get some cardio in?

Whitney Houston’s boyfriend, record producer Ray J, has agreed to seek counseling at the urging of his sister, singer/actress Brandy to help come to terms with the tragic death of the pop icon last month, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As we previously reported, Houston died February 11 at the Beverly Hilton at age 48. The singer was found unresponsive by members of her entourage in the bathroom of her hotel room, and she was declared dead by responding paramedics at 3:55 pm PST on the eve of the Grammys.

“Ray J is obviously absolutely devastated by the loss of Whitney, who he says was the love of his life,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Even though a month has passed since she died, Ray still can’t believe that Whitney is gone. He has saved voice mail messages on his cell phone from her that he has been listening to. His sister Brandy has urged him to go to counseling to deal with this loss, and he has finally agreed.

“Ray is just numb and he needs to be able to start to deal with these feelings. Brandy and her brother are extremely close, and she has been a rock for him in the weeks since Whitney died. However, Brandy is also dealing with a huge loss, as she worked with Whitney professionally, and loved her like an older sister. Brandy recognizes that she can only help her brother so much. Ray has promised Brandy he will see someone, however, knowing how take charge Brandy is, she will probably find a mental health professional and make the arrangements for him.”

No one will ever forget the heartbreaking moment at Houston’s funeral as her casket was being carried out of the church, as her song I Will Always Love You was playing, when Ray J lovingly reached out to touch Whitney’s coffin. Ray J subsequently broke down in tears in the pew and was comforted by Brandy.

“Ray has told his family he doesn’t know if he will ever be able to listen to Whitney’s version of I Will Always Love You ever again,” the source says. “He is surrounded by his family and just trying to get through the pain. What people don’t realize is how much Ray loves Whitney, he never refers to her in the past tense. He just doesn’t know what to do with the huge void in his life.”

According to TMZ reports:

A cancer-stricken woman on TLC’s “My Strange Addiction” swears by the healing properties of her own urine — drinking it, rubbing it on her skin, even BATHING in it — and the footage is stomach-turning.

53-year-old Carrie has been drinking her own urine for 4 years — downing about 80 ounces of the yellow stuff a day — and despite a total absence of medical proof, she believes it’s helped control her cancer. Carrie says in the show finale (which airs Sunday at 10 PM) … she hasn’t seen a doctor in 6 years.

Carrie doesn’t just drink her pee — she brushes her teeth with it, uses it as lotion, pours it in her hair, bathes in it … even rinses out her eyeballs with it.

Although Carrie insists her obsession is life-saving — she says she’s noticed a strange mole on her back that changes daily from dark to light.

Listen lady, maybe no one in your life will tell you this so we will. You’re a sick weirdo, you’ve got CANCER, and you need to go to the doctor.

Taylor Armstrong revealed in her memoir that her late husband, Russell, tried to drown her in a swimming pool along with two unnamed friends, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned their identities and confirmed that a police report was in fact filed.

Jennifur Diamond and her husband at the time, Mark Alsentzer, were at Taylor and Russell’s home several years ago when he flew into a rage and badly injured Mark, but no one pressed charges because Taylor begged her BFF Jennifur not to, and both she and Mark agreed.

According to Taylor’s book, Russell pretended he had left the group but was really listening to their conversation and after hearing Taylor say, “Just take care of Kennedy if anything happens,” Russell allegedly jumped out of the bushes and confronted her.

“Russell was in a frenzy, and he had a wild look in his eyes. He hit Mark, and threw Jennifur, her dog and Taylor in the swimming pool and tried to drown Taylor. Taylor thought she was going to die as Russell held her under the water,” a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

“Mark and Jennifur were able to pull Russell off of her and probably saved her life. The cops were called and a police report was filed. At that point Taylor hadn’t been receiving any therapy, and she begged and pleaded with her friends not to press charges.

“Taylor had to cover her neck for several weeks because of the choke marks. She even had trouble speaking because of Russell’s strength when he tried to choke her.”

Russell definitely had some loose screws, but he wasn’t about that “go-to-jail” life.

“Mark got 16 stitches and had work done on his teeth because of what Russell did,” the insider said.

“I can’t be sure that Russell gave them money to stay quiet, but he definitely gave them money to cover the expenses of Mark’s medical stuff which was somewhere around $12,000.”

And although no charges were pressed, the incident created a temporary rift between Taylor and Jennifur, who refused to protect Taylor any longer when Russell got violent.

“Jennifur was really, really upset and said that she couldn’t talk to Taylor anymore because the abusive situation was too much. They tried to get Taylor to leave Russell, but she didn’t want to give up her lifestyle,” the source said.

This story just makes Taylor look even worse if you ask us. Beaten, berated, and damn-near drowned?!?! All to live in some big azz house and drive a certain kind of car?!?! SMMFH

Tila Tequila was hospitalized for a week due to a brain aneurysm that nearly caused the petite star to die, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

Tila, 30, was released from the hospital on Monday and according to a source close to her, the 4’11″ reality TV personality dropped from just 100 pounds to a frail 78 pounds.

“It was terrifying for Tila and death was knocking at her door,” the source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

“She was in two hospitals for the span of a week and is still not in perfect health, so she’s going to check into an outpatient program.”

According to the source, Tila suffered a brain aneurysm in the middle of the night, which caused her to think irrationally. Due to the pain, she took two bottles of unspecified heavy prescription drugs.

“Tila threw up all over her bed after overdosing and felt like she was dying. She was screaming for help, and in desperation, broke her bedroom window and attempted to jump out,” the source said.

“Finally a friend came over after getting a strange text from her and found her convulsing on the bed. He called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital.”

Tila was hospitalized just in time to stabilize her and she was under intensive care all week.

“It’s sad to think she may have some permanent brain damage,” the source said.

“She still can’t fully speak properly.”
