Natalie “Queen” Cole was just released from a hospital after having a kidney transplant:

Natalie Cole has been discharged from the hospital five days after undergoing a kidney transplant. Cole headed home on Sunday to continue her recovery, her rep confirms to PEOPLE. The Grammy winner, 59, planned to attend a private family memorial service on Monday for her sister Carol “Cookie” Cole, who passed away following a battle with lung cancer the same day Natalie received her life-saving organ transplant. Michael Jackson was seen in in L.A. the other day, with no mask on, leaving what is believed to be a cancer clinic:

Michael Jackson was pictured without his usual surgical mask as he left a medical facility in Los Angeles yesterday. The singer smiled briefly for photographers outside the Bedford Medical building wearing a bright red jacket. The purpose of Jackson’s visit was not clear, although reports over the weekend claimed he was suffering from skin cancer. Continue »

The campus of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, was locked down for several hours Sunday morning after a former student shot two people in a dormitory and then shot himself, university and police officials said. Trick Daddy has decided to stop taking his medication to treat his Lupus. The rapper says the side effects are to much:

Rapper TRICK DADDY is refusing to undergo treatment as he battles autoimmune disease Lupus. The Miami, Florida native, real name Maurice Young, recently revealed he has been fighting the illness in secret for 12 years. He said during a radio interview, “I went to the doctor, like, 12 years ago. She took all kinds of tests, because I was trying to get rid of what we call dry skin; she did biopsies and blood tests and swab tests. She told me I have lupus.” But the Let’s Go star has now stopped taking medication to slow down the progression of the disease from drying out his skin to ravaging his inner organs – because he’s sick of all the side effects.
