In Montecito, Yorba Linda, Corona, and Brea, California, fires have been blazing out of control for 2 days now and hundreds of homes have been lost:

Southern Californians weathered a second straight day of devastation Saturday as wind-blasted wildfires destroyed hundreds of homes, shut down major freeways and forced thousands of residents in the path of flames to flee to safety. Montecito, ranked by Forbes magazine in 2006 as the seventh most expensive area in the US, with an average home price of $2.9m (£1.9m), is a popular retreat for the rich and famous. Celebrities such as talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey and Hollywood actors Michael Douglas, Jeff Bridges and Rob Lowe all own property in the area.

A wildfire stoked by powerful Santa Ana winds damaged or destroyed at least 42 homes in Yorba Linda and Corona Saturday and charred more than 1,000 acres.The fire forced thousands to evacuate the area, while streets and freeways were snarled with traffic.A smaller fire also burned in Brea, near Carbon Canyon and Olinda Village.

It is rumored that the fire was started by an ex-owner of a home. Apparently, it made more sense for him to set that b*tch ablaze once it foreclosed.

Katt Williams has that blank stare for a reason:

Actor and comedian Katt Williams, of movies “First Sunday” and “Norbit” fame, apparently has made a stop in Sumter. Unfortunately it was not for one of his stand-up comedy routines but rather a visit with family members that allegedly ended with a psychiatric evaluation at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. On Friday, he turned up in Sumter and allegedly underwent a mental health evaluation for a possible hospital commitment, at the urging of local family members. This was after run-ins with both city and county law enforcement. Sumter Police Department Maj. Perry Herod said officers responded to a call in reference to suspicious behavior by Williams, 35, on Friday morning at the Mount Vernon Inn.

Crackhouse wasn’t hiding from the One-Time, she was just trying to get those rocks up off her boyfriend:

Amy Winehouse went on a wild rampage around Camden last night, screaming for her husband and banging on the door of her old flat some 100 meters from her current home. The troubled star appeared to be completely out of it and was worryingly emaciated again, with sores all over her face. The wild-eyed singer - still without her trademark beehive and minus her trademark sweep of black eyeliner – then made her way back to her flat clutching a liter bottle of vodka via a building site, signing autographs on the way.

Amy then handed a bottle of vodka to waiting snappers, before shouting through a window: “It’s hard going for a year without sex,” Her drug-addict husband Blake Fielder-Civil is due to rejoin his wife tomorrow, having gone straight to rehab from prison where he served time for GBH and perverting the course of justice.

We really feel sorry for this chick these days because this is just getting out of hand now. She literally looks like a zombie walking around with her face bleeding like that. SMH

A obsessed fan and former American Idol reject, Paula Goodspeed, was stalking Paula Abdul, and committed suicide outside of the judge’s home last night:

We’ve learned the identity of the dead woman, Paula Goodspeed, who appeared on Season 5 in 2006. During her audition she said she’s an artist and the first pic she ever drew was of Paula Abdul. “Idol” produced a 3 minute and 40 second featurette on Goodspeed and her passion for Paula. She did not make the cut, after Ryan Seacrest proclaimed, “And the love affair is over.”

It’s painfully obvious from her MySpace page, the woman who was found dead in front of Paula Abdul’s house had an obsession with “American Idol”, and was seriously affected by her embarrassment on the show.

On the chick’s Myspace page it shows that she was a actress that was tore up in the head and had over dosed at Paula’s before. Paula released a statement saying she was, “Shocked and Saddened”.

In southern Alabama, a party with their LSU rivals went horribly wrong. The defeated LSU fan exacted his revenge and smoked two Bama fans after the game:

Authorities say an argument over Saturday’s Alabama-LSU football game led to the shooting deaths of a couple at a home in south Alabama. A man and woman were shot dead after an argument that witnesses said started over an Alabama-LSU football game, but sheriff’s investigators said Monday they continued to investigate the motive. The Conecuh County sheriff’s office identified the victims as Dennis James Smith, 41, and Donna Kaye Hall Smith, 39, of Brewton. The two were shot to death about 7 p.m. Saturday in the rural community of Owassa in southern Alabama. Michael W. Williams, 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder over the shooting at his home, where he had watched the game. He was being held Monday without bond. A sheriff’s investigator handling the case did not know if he had an attorney. An investigator said Monday that people watching the game at Williams’ home said the dispute was over the game, which Alabama won 27-21 in overtime Saturday, but an investigation into the motive was not complete. The investigator also said alcohol may have been a factor.

That was a heartbreaking loss in overtime for LSU fans, but it was a personal loss for Michael Williams. We can understand being a die hard fan, but this here totally exceeds the expectations of one. SMH

An 8 year old boy in Arizona smoked his dad and another man:

A man who police believe was shot and killed by his 8-year-old son had consulted a Roman Catholic priest about whether the boy should handle guns and had taught him how to use them, the clergyman said Saturday. The father, Vincent Romero, 29, was from a family of avid hunters and wanted to make sure the boy wasn’t afraid of guns and knew how to handle them, said the Very Rev. John Paul Sauter of St. Johns Catholic Church. The boy’s stepmother had suggested he have a BB gun, the priest said. Romero taught his son how to use a rifle to kill prairie dogs, Sauter said. Police say the boy used a 22.-caliber rifle Wednesday to kill his father and another man, Timothy Romans, 39, of San Carlos. The priest did not say how he advised the couple or whether they decided to buy him a gun but said Saturday that the boy “was just too young.” “That child, I don’t think he knows what he did, and it was brutal,” said Sauter, who presided at the wedding of the father and stepmother. In a unexpected twist to a gruesome story that needs nothing more than to be concluded, the New York Post reports that Jennifer Hudson’s brother may have once owned the gun used to slay him and his family members:

Jennifer Hudson’s brother might have once possessed the stolen handgun that cops suspect was used to kill him and two other members of the actress’ family, the Chicago Tribune reported yesterday. The brother, Jason Hudson, 27, told neighbors his weapon was swiped months ago, the Tribune said. Jason was found shot dead along with his mother on Oct. 24. Hudson’s nephew, Julian King, 7, was abducted and found shot to death with a .45-caliber Sig Sauer pistol three days later in an SUV. William “Flex” Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson’s sister, is under arrest.

According to Livesteez, the 911 call from the night Isiah felt like ending it all has been released, also confirmation on him being admitted to the psyche ward.

Isiah Thomas was confirmed as the person found passed out in his home from an alleged overdose. Now, a newly released police report indicates the person who called 911 about an overdose at Thomas’ home believed the victim had stopped breathing. “Upon my arrival I assisted (another officer) who was administering O2 to (name withheld) lying on the kitchen floor,” the report said. It does not say who made the call. Authorities have not publicly identified Thomas as the accidental overdose victim, but a person familiar with the case, speaking on condition of anonymity because the police report had not been released, confirmed to the AP that it was Thomas. The report also says the patient was taken to White Plains Hospital and that someone gave “a witness deposition” about the episode. The town of Harrison cited “unwanted invasion of personal privacy” as the reason for redacting the names from the police report.

In the report, a police officer says he went to the former Knicks coach’s home in the Purchase section of Harrison around midnight Oct. 23 in response to a report of “(name withheld) not breathing.”

This man has some demons. SMH

According to Livesteez, this good for nothing pinktoe, William Walsh, choked his wife to death after she called him on having a side piece:

A New York man confesses to police that he choked his wife, a special needs teacher, to death, dumped her body in the woods and then faked a crime scene so it looked like she was kidnapped, police said today. William Walsh, 29, killed his wife Leah after an argument early Sunday morning over his infidelity, cops said. He then intentionally went about his business all Sunday so he could establish an alibi. With his dead wife in the house, the calculating killer spent Sunday doing laundry and lunching at a local McDonald’s, says police, reports the NY Post. “Sometime after darkness, he prepared for the removal of Leah from her home, where she lay dead the entire day,” Nassau County Homicide Detective Lt. John Azzata said today at a press conference. He put his wife into the foot well area compartment of her vehicle, her black Ford Focus, and drove around Long Island, looking for a pace to dump the body.”

The legal system really needs to make an example out these Scott Peterson types. You kill your wife because you got caught cheating? Kill yourself.
