There goes Sammy Sosa stealing someone’s spotlight again.

Ghostface and his pregnant wife were spotted at Marc Anthony’s 43rd birthday party last night. And that was pretty much the most interesting thing about the party. No Will. No Jada. No J. Lo. Even Pitbull couldn’t be bothered.

Joel and Benji Madden made it though.

Jordin Sparks attended last night’s Cedar Sinai Sports Spectacular in Beverly Hills along with her former NY Giants daddy Phillippi Sparks, but that didn’t keep her from being popular with NBA players Blake Griffin and Wesley Johnson. Newly single and svelte, we’re sure Jordin has her pick of the menfolk right now, but if you were her, Which One Would You Hit?

Black love was definitely in the building last night. Besides Michael Strahan and his longtime boo Nicole Murphy, we were also happy to see Derrick Ward and Electrik Red banger Naomi looking cozy.

Rihanna celebrated her 23rd birthday Sunday night by rocking out with some of music’s biggest names – but also found time for some quiet celebrating with old friends.

The pop star rushed to her party at a private home in Beverly Hills after performing at the NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles. When she arrived, a party guest tells PEOPLE that she was treated to a taste of home – in the form of Sprinkles red velvet cupcakes with the Barbados flag imprinted on them.

She grabbed a full-sized confection, announcing, “I’m so hungry,” the source says. Before all her guests arrived, Rihanna managed to sneak away to party with her best girlfriends in a secluded room in the Beverly Hills house. When she later joined the main party, she sported a tight-fitting pink dress with some purple fringe around the skirt.

There, she greeted her high-wattage friends warmly. “She [gave] Ryan Phillippe and Zac Efron huge hugs,” the source says, adding that the two actors hung out together and chatted throughout the night.

Also on hand: Cee Lo Green and his crew, who were spotted noshing on some of Oxtail and plantains, as well as Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z, who were “laughing and having a blast posing for photos in corner of the party,” the source says. Blige also “squealed with excitement” when she caught sight of Diddy, and they shared a long hug.

Later, Snoop Dog and Warren G rolled in at 1 a.m. and proceeded to dance and sing along to some old-school hip-hop songs while guests cheered them on.

Joel Madden and Christina Milian were also celebrating with the birthday gal, and both them indulged in vanilla and red velvet cupcakes, respectively.

If we were Rihanna, we would’ve probably skipped Donald Trump’s charity event for this as well, however, we would’ve been a tab bit more honest about the situation. SMH.

Good for Nicole…this girl has come a LONG way:

Ever since she was a little girl, there were two things Nicole Richie wanted on the day she married: a show-stopper dress inspired by Grace Kelly’s iconic wedding gown, and a real live elephant for good luck. Both her wishes came true as she married Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden at her father Lionel Richie’s home on Dec. 11.

They tied the knot in front of their children – Harlow, 2, was the flower girl, while 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer – under a tent transformed to resemble a French garden. “It was magical,” Richie, 29, tells PEOPLE. Adds Madden, 31: “It was the best night of my life.”

For her big day, Richie wore three stunning Marchesa dresses, including one featuring a ball-gown skirt crafted from more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals.

Joel Madden has finally made an honest woman out of Lionel Richie’s little girl! And it only took three years of shacking up and a pair of slightly swirly little ones.

Nicole and her baby daddy jumped the broom in L.A. yesterday.

With dad Lionel Richie – her rock of support – and friends including Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Kris Jenner and Samantha Ronson in attendance, Nicole was a stunningly beautiful bride as she took Joel’s hand in marriage.

Music legend Quincy Jones, her dad’s good friend and Nicole’s godfather, arrived just before she walked down the aisle. Other guests were brought in by shuttle van from the nearby Beverly Hills Hotel.

Joel’s Good Charlotte twin brother Benji, was reportedly the best man. Nicole and Joel’s children Harlow and Sparrow were also part of the celebration.

Congrats to the happy couple. Joel’s been such a positive influence on Nicole (from the outside looking in, anyway). Do you think Harlow and Sparrow are gonna get any more siblings?

Nicole Richie gave birth to her son yesterday in the wee hours of the morning and named him after a bird.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden named their son Sparrow Midnight. Why would anyone name their son after a bird and awkward time of nightfall? We are now convinced that Nicole is out there on something. In fact, she may need an intervention right along with Maia. More importantly, with all the normal names out there, why do celebrities insist on trying to be “creative”?
