Kelly Rowland let her hair, her guard and her top down during her appearance on Tuesday’s “Chelsea Lately.”

The hot chocolate singer, who is up for a Grammy this weekend, dished to host Chelsea Handler about getting Lil Wayne on “Motivation,” turning 30, her 80/20 diet plan, and finding love. Via NecoleBitchie…

On Lil Wayne being easy to work with:

I saw him at a [Miami] Heat game and I told him I had a song. I went to the studio, played him the song and he got on it. Sometimes, I don’t know if you guys know, but artists will be a little bit difficult when it comes to getting on songs. You go through that Hollywood stuff. I don’t like that and he just did it.

On her ‘Sexy Abs’ DVD:

I had so much fun. My trainer Jeanette Jenkins taught me so much. Of course, abs but she talk me this 80/20 rule because first of all I love sweets, I love cookies, I love cakes, I love pies, I love sugar, I love candy and anything that has sugar in it. So I had to cut all of that off. [The rule is] 80% of the time you’re doing everything healthy. You eat greens and stuff that isn’t fun to eat but it’s good for you and it’s what you’re body needs. Then the stuff that I like –sugar, cakes, cookies pies, and maybe a little cocktail in there, maybe five that’s all the fun stuff.

On if she’s still single:

I got a good man.

When Billboard magazine put together their annual “Power 100 List,” Hip Hop took a few prominent positions in the form of Jay-Z (listed with wife Beyonce) and “Birdman” (listed with co-founder/co-CEO Ronald “Slim” Williams). Jay-Z and Beyonce took the highest spot of any Hip Hop/R&B contributors by being listed together at the number 13 slot. And Brian and Ronald Williams weren’t far behind at the number 25 spot.

The Williams Brothers have been responsible for selling over 75 million records since signing a $30 million pressing and distribution deal with Universal back in 1998. Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Drake, DJ Khaled and Nicki Minaj all record under either the Cash Money or YMCMB umbrella. The pair have also negotiated book deals and a YMCMB debit card all while eyeing a bigger haul.

“We dominate Rap, but we need to dominate R&B,” Birdman told Billboard. “We need to dominate Pop, Gospel, Country—we’re a brand so we should be able to put out all these types of music. We just got to keep grinding.”
