Despite a sour loss in 2008, the Vietnam P.O.W. called Obama a “Patriot” and hushed the haters; many from his own party and the tea party movement who have claimed “that his policies and beliefs make him unworthy to lead America.”

McCain added that Obama gave a “terrific speech” in Tucson, Arizona as he “comforted and inspired the country” during a tribute for the victims of the shooting frenzy that took place nearly a week ago.

Take notes America, McCain says “every American who participates in our political debates, whether we are on the left or right or in the media, to aspire to a more generous appreciation of one another and a more modest one of ourselves.”

Would it be safe to say that McCain has Obama’s back? Or is this sudden change of heart just for show?

Starting in 2007, our editorial team decided that we would put the weight of our website which attracts over 1 million unique visitors a month behind a special transformational figure, Barack Obama. We were particularly attracted to what symbolism he and Michelle represented to the world and in particular, Black America.

It’s time for a change in the way we think about ourselves, our responsibility for our own success, and the way we look at the opportunities that exist in the world. We hope that a Barack Obama presidency will kill the dated and bankrupt “Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton” political thinking in Black America and replace it with something more in line with the times and cultural dynamics in which we live.

You won’t see a celebrity at the top of Bossip for the next 2 days. It’s all about Barack and Michelle.

Here is your boy Obama yesterday taking his cute daughter Sasha out for Halloween in Chicago. He got into it with the press and then started running away:

It wasn’t quite a Halloween nightmare on Obama street, but journalists on Friday drew a rare flash of anger from the normally unflappable Democratic presidential nominee.Barack Obama had taken a break from the campaign trail for a few hours of Halloween fun at home with his family four days before the election, but ended up visibly annoyed when news crews dogged their footsteps in their Chicago neighborhood.

“That’s enough. You’ve got a shot. Leave us alone,” Obama told reporters as he walked down the block with his 7-year-old daughter Sasha in her costume on the way to a party at a neighbor’s home.

Obama, usually cool in public during a campaign that has turned him into the frontrunner for the White House, did not disguise his irritation when his surprise walk caused news photographers and camera crews to scramble for position on the sidewalk.

He grew especially testy when a Polish television cameraman tried to approach them.”Come on guys, get back on the bus,” he pleaded with journalists, many of whom had accompanied him from the airport to Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood.Obama, wearing sunglasses but no costume, and his daughter, dressed up as what campaign aides said was a “corpse’s bride,” then broke into a sprint, leaving the journalists behind.

Only a few days until Obama turns the page of history. Everyone should be out there to vote on Tuesday and if you can’t vote, you better be pushing someone to get their a*s out there and support change. Don’t get it twisted, we have to go all out and full blast to make it happen.

Hopefully, Obama’s influence will be reflected in the polls in November as well. Yes We Can!!!!! and Yes We Are!!!!

Rush Limbaugh and a slew of other conservatives dismissed Colin Powell’s endorsement of Barack Obama as race loyalty:

“Secretary Powell says his endorsement is not about race,” Limbaugh wrote. “OK, fine. I am now researching his past endorsements to see if I can find all the inexperienced, very liberal, white candidates he has endorsed. I’ll let you know what I come up with.

“I was also unaware of his dislike for John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy and Antonin Scalia. I guess he also regrets Reagan and Bush making him a four-star and secretary of state and appointing his son to head the FCC. Yes, let’s hear it for transformational figures.”

Powell said this morning that if this had been about race he would have endorsed Obama last year, as opposed to giving Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., campaign contributions. It was about the campaigns Obama and McCain have been waging, Powell said, and the candidates they have become.

Barack Obama attracted 100,000 people at a Saturday rally here, his biggest crowd ever at a U.S. event.The crowd assembled under the Gateway Arch on a sunny Saturday afternoon to hear Obama speak about taxes and slam the Republicans on economic issues.Lt. Samuel Dotson of the St. Louis Police Department confirmed the number of attendees piled into the grassy lawn by the Mississippi River.

To be sure, big crowds don’t always signal a big turnout on Election Day. But Obama’s ability to draw his largest audience yet in a typically red state that just weeks ago looked out of reach, could signal a changing electoral map. For months Missouri polls put Obama as much as ten percentage points behind Republican John McCain. It was widely believed that McCain’s pick of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate would have won over the state’s conservatives and boosted his chances there. So far, that hasn’t happened.

A Rasmussen poll released on Friday shows Obama leading in Missouri 52% to 46% for McCain.

I know a lot of people are mad seeing this. SMH. Don’t get too confident history will be made. Make plans to ride for your boy Barack on November 4.

Joe The Plumber tried to challenge your boy Barack and McCain tried to “lean” on Joe P. last night in the president debate but come to find out, that nicca Joe P. is suspect, You can tell by the above picture that Joe P. was up to no good:

According to public records, Mr. Wurzelbacher has been subject to two liens, each over $1,000, one of which — a personal tax lien — is still outstanding. Turns out that “Joe the Plumber,” as he became nationally known when Senator John McCain made him a theme at Wednesday night’s third and final presidential debate, may run a plumbing business but he is not a licensed plumber. His full name is Samuel J. Wurzelbacher. And he owes a bit in back taxes. The premise of his question to Mr. Obama about taxes may also be flawed, according to tax analysts.

An official at Local 50 of the plumber’s union, based in Toledo, said Mr. Wurzelbacher does not hold a license. He also has never served an apprenticeship and does not belong to the union. (The national plumber’s union, the United Association of Plumbers, Steamfitters, and Service Mechanics, endorsed Mr. Obama, it should be noted.)

“He’s basically playing games with the world,” Thomas Joseph, the local’s business manager, said in a telephone interview Thursday morning.

And his question to Mr. Obama about paying taxes? According to some tax analysts, if Mr. Wurzelbacher’s gross receipts from his business is $250,000 — and not his taxable income — then he would not have to pay higher taxes under Mr. Obama’s plan, and probably would be eligible for a tax cut.

On Thursday, he told the Associated Press that he felt like Britney Spears.

“I’m kind of like Britney Spears having a headache,” he said. “Everybody wants to know about it.”

The latest national poll has Obama splitting the old man’s wig:

Over all, the poll found that if the election were held today, 53 percent of those determined to be probable voters said that they would vote for Mr. Obama and 39 percent said they would vote for Mr. McCain. The McCain campaign’s recent angry tone and sharply personal attacks on Senator Barack Obama appear to have backfired and tarnished Senator John McCain more than their intended target, the latest New York Times/CBS News poll has found.

After several weeks in which the McCain campaign unleashed a series of harsh political attacks on Mr. Obama, trying to tie him to a former 1960s radical, among other things, the poll found that voters see Mr. McCain as waging a more negative campaign than Mr. Obama. Six in 10 of those surveyed said that Mr. McCain had spent more time attacking Mr. Obama than explaining what he would do as president; by the same margin voters said Mr. Obama was spending more of his time explaining than attacking.

It’s a little late in the game for the old man to be down this much and come back. No Cents, Jesse Jackson, and other useless negroes will have to bow down, there is a new star in town. Someone (Michelle too) we can be proud of and encouraged if our kids want to be like him.

Don’t get too excited, get your a*s up and vote November 4, people are known to lie when being asked who they would vote for. The ‘Bradley Effect’ is real.

Is it just us or does McCain supporter James T. Harris sound like a slave, the 2.0 version. It’s ok if one of us supports McCain but damn, this guy acts like he is on a modern-day plantation. Here is his negro behavior yesterday at a McCain rally in Wisconsin:

Listen, want to say first of all, God Bless you Governor Palin, you are barracuda, we need that, I would also like to say Senator, God Bless you and for your leadership.”Senator, at the convention, you asked for us to fight, for you,” said the supporter. “I doubt there’s anyone in this room that’s, pardon me, taken the ass whoopin’ I have taken for supporting you, and for supporting your policies.” Sir, I believe that, the next coming debate, it is absolutely vital that you take it to Obama; that you hit him where it hits … The soft spot, We have the Good reverend Wright, we have all these shady characters around Obama, I am begging you sir, I am begging you, take it to him” he said, drawing another round of audience applause. McCain crossed the stage and hugged the man.

“Thank you,” said the senator. “Thank you for your courage. I believe your reward will be in heaven, not here on Earth.”
