It’s Friday so you know what that means… yes it’s the day before the beginning of the weekend but it also means another installment of a themed Bossip Boombox. Today’s edition brings you a list of the hottest female MC’s that always represented within their own respective male dominated groups or features. Make sure to tell us what you think. Most people remember the ridiculous video where the members of Flipmode ran from bulls in Mexico City but if you’re like us, you remember the hot verse by Rah. Always one to hold her own against the ever so talented, Busta Buss. Besides, can you honestly name all the members of Flipmode? We’ll wait.

Lil Kim feat. Diddy, Notrious B.I.G. and The Lox – “All About The Benjamins”
As Kimberly Jones so eloquently articulates, “Only female in my crew and I kick sh*t.” Need we say more?

Nicki has always had a lot to prove, whether it being compared to another female MC featured in this Boombox, the only female rapper in her very male dominated group or just more than a big butt and a smile but we honestly can say she proved a lot with this feature against hip hop’s biggest heavy weights.

Shawnna feat. 8Ball & MJG – “Candy Coated”
Former member of Ludacris’ group DTP, Shawnna brought the heat on this track featuring the legendary 8Ball & MJG. She is a beast. The end.

A 10-year-old boy is in juvenile custody after telling a neighbor that he had shot and killed his mother, an Ohio sheriff said Monday.

Deborah McVay, 46, was found dead of a single gunshot wound to the head Sunday night in Big Prairie, located about midway between Cleveland and Columbus, said Holmes County Sheriff Tim Zimmerly. Paramedics found McVay lying facedown on her living room floor, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, Zimmerly said.

Authorities went to the home after a neighbor called a sheriff’s dispatcher to say McVay’s son had come to her home and said he had just shot his mother.

McVay’s body was transported to the Stark County Coroner’s office for an autopsy. The sheriff said McVay’s 15-year-old daughter is currently staying with relatives. It is unclear whether she witnessed the shooting.

The 10-year-old boy is being held in Richland County Juvenile Detention and will appear in court Monday afternoon. A woman who answered the phone at McVay’s home said she had no comment and hung up.

Authorities are investigating what may have caused the shooting.

Its sad as hell that this tragedy has ruined 2 lives. One day this little boy is going to regret killing his mother in the worst way, and by that time it will probably be WAY too late. SMH
