Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick pleads guilty:

The deal calls for Kilpatrick to plead guilty to two felony counts of obstruction of justice by committing perjury, agreeing to serve four months in jail, pay up to $1 million in restitution, and serve five years’ probation. He also agreed not to run for office during that five-year span.

In a rushed monotone, Kilpatrick told the court: “I lied under oath in the case of Gary Brown and Harold Nelthrope versus the city of Detroit … I did so with the intent to mislead the court and jury, to impede and obstruct the disposition of justice.” Continue »

Only in America would you see something like this:

For the first time, the weekly magazine decided to do a double cover: Barack Obama and family grace the front cover, while Sarah Palin and baby son Trig are on the back. “Politics and the future of America are certainly on everyone’s minds. So OK! decided to try something different this week, giving readers two covers and two interesting features on candidates from both parties. It’s a special edition, something we’ve never done before, and we hope they enjoy.”

And speaking of Palin and her expectant daughter, a fellow teen mom is reaching out. A source close to Beverly Hills baby store Petit Tresor says that a member of the Spears family sent Bristol Palin a gift from Plainmary.com on behalf of Jamie Lynn. “It was ordered by phone, and they asked what could be done for under $100. They spent $60 on pink burpcloths.”

There was a Negro fest recently by Cornel West, Julianne Malveaux, and Tavis Smiley where the pseudo intellectuals took time to blast Barack Obama’s DNC nomination speech. Jesse “I want to cut off his nuts” Jackson is not the only negro who knows his time is up, Tavis Smiley and Cornel West know their time is up too.

That old school ‘Afro-negro’ intellectualism is not going to cut it anymore and these hardcore chitlin eatin’ negroes are fighting back. They don’t understand that BO wants to win, that’s the prize. They would rather have Obama speaking at a Jena 6 rally defending some thugs than being Leader of the Free World. SMH. Go sit your ho asses down!

Cornel West is the same guy who (with Jesse Jackson) made whether he was going to teach at Harvard or Princeton a national racial issue. SMH. West also criticized BO for not marching or speaking for Jena 6. Tavis criticized BO for not coming to his “State of the Black Union’ meeting. Next thing you know these negroes will want BO in a bow tie with some Final Calls at the next rally.

Obviously, these negroes are jealous or stupid.

Does any of the old heads out there remember Dan Quayle, the lightweight who couldn’t spell potato? Well, that’s what political geeks around the web are calling that Shady McCain’s VP pick. When Palin was asked about the VP spot recently, she said the following:

But as for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does everyday? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question.

It looks more like he was thinking about tapping that or exploiting the Hillary/Obama beef more than finding the best person for the country.

It was leaked to the press late last night that Obama picked Senator Joseph Biden as his VP running mate. Although nothing to get excited about, we think this is a smart move.

He gets a little cred with older white folks and makes his run for the Whitehouse look less risky by selecting a “seasoned” politician with a strong background in international affairs.

Now that this is over, it’s time to go hard and push that shady McCain’s wig back.

John Edwards recently admitted to creepin’ on his wife but denied her baby is his. Her fam wants him to take a paternity test:

“Two years ago I made a very serious mistake, a mistake that I am responsible for and no one else. In 2006, I told Elizabeth about the mistake, asked her for her forgiveness, asked God for his forgiveness. And we have kept this within our family since that time.”

What other things are these shady politicians lying about? Doesn’t she look a little “off”?
