Quick and Early Start for Blacks

Posted by Bossip Staff

Blacks are getting an early start to this year’s presidential election, according to Livesteez.

Americans are voting early in large numbers this year — and African-Americans in several states are turning out in disproportionate numbers. Some fear that polling places in predominantly black neighborhoods will be overwhelmed by a record turnout on Election Day. Others are voting early to be certain the chance to elect the first black U.S. president doesn’t slip away. Lorene Smith was in her twenties when she marched with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a member of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. She witnessed first-hand all kinds of history-book images — the fire hoses, police dogs and flailing billy clubs. Now, at 65, she has graying hair and a bad back that prevents her from standing too long. She is taking no chances with a ballot she once believed could never be cast — a vote for an African-American presidential candidate.”We gonna have two little black girls in the White House running up and down the hallways to find their dog,” she said as she voted Tuesday

No one has united the black community the way Obama has, since Martin used to come on in the early to mid 90′s. It’s been a long time coming and we are elated to see the type of support shown for Obama. YES WE CAN!!!!!

Family First for Obama

Posted by Bossip Staff

In a report by Livesteez, Obama has temporarily halted his campaign:

Presidential candidate Barack Obama will leave the campaign trail for two days this week to visit his seriously ill grandmother in Hawaii, the Democratic candidate’s spokesman, Robert Gibbs, said Monday. “Senator Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has always been one of the most important people in his life. Along with his mother and his grandfather, she raised him in Hawaii from the time he was born until the moment he left for college. As he said at the Democratic Convention, she poured everything she had into him,” said Gibbs in a statement. “Recently, his Grandmother has become ill, and in the last few weeks, her health has deteriorated to the point where her situation is very serious. It is for that reason that Senator Obama has decided to change his schedule on Thursday and Friday so that he can see her and spend some time with her.” The campaign is set to resume on Saturday.

Poor thing has probably waited her entire life to see her grandson realize his dreams. Hopefully, she will get a chance to not only see him become President of the U.S., but to also see him make some very pivotal changes during his presidency as well. Keep the Obama family in your thoughts and prayers.

NY Times/CBS Poll: Obama is Up on The Old Man 53-39%

Posted by Bossip Staff

The latest national poll has Obama splitting the old man’s wig:

Over all, the poll found that if the election were held today, 53 percent of those determined to be probable voters said that they would vote for Mr. Obama and 39 percent said they would vote for Mr. McCain. The McCain campaign’s recent angry tone and sharply personal attacks on Senator Barack Obama appear to have backfired and tarnished Senator John McCain more than their intended target, the latest New York Times/CBS News poll has found.

After several weeks in which the McCain campaign unleashed a series of harsh political attacks on Mr. Obama, trying to tie him to a former 1960s radical, among other things, the poll found that voters see Mr. McCain as waging a more negative campaign than Mr. Obama. Six in 10 of those surveyed said that Mr. McCain had spent more time attacking Mr. Obama than explaining what he would do as president; by the same margin voters said Mr. Obama was spending more of his time explaining than attacking.

It’s a little late in the game for the old man to be down this much and come back. No Cents, Jesse Jackson, and other useless negroes will have to bow down, there is a new star in town. Someone (Michelle too) we can be proud of and encouraged if our kids want to be like him.

Don’t get too excited, get your a*s up and vote November 4, people are known to lie when being asked who they would vote for. The ‘Bradley Effect’ is real.

Slavery 2.0

Posted by Bossip Staff

Is it just us or does McCain supporter James T. Harris sound like a slave, the 2.0 version. It’s ok if one of us supports McCain but damn, this guy acts like he is on a modern-day plantation. Here is his negro behavior yesterday at a McCain rally in Wisconsin:

Listen, want to say first of all, God Bless you Governor Palin, you are barracuda, we need that, I would also like to say Senator, God Bless you and for your leadership.”Senator, at the convention, you asked for us to fight, for you,” said the supporter. “I doubt there’s anyone in this room that’s, pardon me, taken the ass whoopin’ I have taken for supporting you, and for supporting your policies.” Sir, I believe that, the next coming debate, it is absolutely vital that you take it to Obama; that you hit him where it hits … The soft spot, We have the Good reverend Wright, we have all these shady characters around Obama, I am begging you sir, I am begging you, take it to him” he said, drawing another round of audience applause. McCain crossed the stage and hugged the man.

“Thank you,” said the senator. “Thank you for your courage. I believe your reward will be in heaven, not here on Earth.”

Poor thang. Livesteez has the video of this sickness.

Ho Sit Down

Now that it looks like your boy Barack is going to be our next President, McLAME and Palin are trying to cast Obama as an unpatriotic terrorist sympathizer. Palin rode on Obama yesterday:

“We see America as the greatest force for good in this world,” Palin said at a fund-raising event in Colorado, adding, “Our opponent though, is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.

You know they were due to bring the race card out in their own slick way when it started to look like Obama had it locked up. SMH.

Palin Gets Spanked

Posted by Bossip Staff

Local Yokel Sarah Palin and Joe Biden duked it out at last night’s one and only vice presidential debate. Ms. I-can-see-Russia-from-my-house attempted to dismiss the fact that the republicans are directly responsible for the the no-end-in-sight war and the financial turmoil over here. She said:

“Enough is enough with looking backward and playing the blame game,” Palin said in response to a question about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. “There’s a time, too, when Americans are gonna say, ‘Enough is enough,’ with your ticket constantly looking backwards and pointing fingers and doing the blame game. There have been huge blunders in the war, there have been huge blunders throughout this administration, as there are with any administration, but for a ticket that wants to talk about change and looking into the future, there’s just too much finger-pointing backwards to ever make us believe that that’s where you’re going.”

Bidden hit back hard, splaying the facts as such:

It was two Mondays ago John McCain said at 9 o’clock in the morning that the fundamentals of the economy were strong,” Biden said. “Two weeks before that, he said George – we’ve made great economic progress under George Bush’s policies. Nine o’clock, the economy was strong. Eleven o’clock that same day, two Mondays ago, John McCain said that we have an economic crisis. That doesn’t make John McCain a bad guy, but it does point out he’s out of touch.”

Diddy is a Crazy @ss Fool

Posted by Bossip Staff

Diddy done lost his damn mind. In an attempt to raise awareness about Sarah Palin’s total lack of awareness, this buffoon has reenacted a scene from the Blair Witch Project. Now, we know you’re an Obama supporter to the core, but damn. Everything has its limits. We’re embarrassed for him.

Question of the Day

Posted by Bossip Staff

Senate majority, Harry Reid, spearheaded this massive bailout:

WASHINGTON – After a spectacular failure, the $700 billion financial-industry rescue plan found a second life, winning lopsided passage in the Senate last night and gaining ground in the House, where conservative opposition seemed to soften. The rescue bill – loaded with tax breaks for business and an increase in deposit-insurance limits – passed 74-25. It heads to the House for a vote tomorrow. House passage would require a turnaround of 12 votes from Monday’s stunning 228-205 defeat, which sent markets into a tailspin around the globe. “It is my expectation that the House of Representatives will follow suit,” Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid said after his chamber’s vote.

The question of the day is: who is responsible for paying this $700B tab? How special; you were gonna say the government. This one’s on us. I guess you won’t be buying those tagless tees from Hanes for your nephew because CHRISTMAS IS OFFICIALLY CANCELLED, until further notice. Tell your friends.

It Was Only A Matter of Time

They’ve resorted to targeting the next generation:

The Jackson County School Board has taken action against a teacher who apparently made racial commentary on presidential candidate Barack Obama. According to parents and students in Greg Howard’s seventh-grade social studies class, Howard on Friday, Sept. 26 asked the class a question regarding Obama’s call for change, and proceeded to write out what the letters C-H-A-N-G-E stood for. “She told me that he wrote on the board ‘Can You Help A (expletive) Get Elected, and then laughed about it,” said Shelia Christian, a mother of one of Howard’s students. Jackson County Superintendent Danny Sims said that description of this incident was “pretty accurate.” Sims said Howard apparently repeated the action in more than one class, having made the comment in “a couple of periods.” According to a news release from the school board, Howard was suspended with pay on Monday, Sept. 29.

The only surprising thing here should be the fact that this jackass was stupid enough to do this in front of his students. We have a feeling there might some CHANGE coming for Mr. Howard like change of address, change of income, and change of appearance, if some Obama fanatics get a hold of him. You oughtta be ashamed of yourself for trying to infect the minds of those young children. That’s why they tattle-told on your stupid ass!
