Last night, the cast of “A Joyful Noise” hit the Chinese Theater in L.A. for the big premiere of the feel-good film that opens nationwide this Friday January 13th. Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton had the press eating out of their hands, but it was Paula Patton that got OUR attention! Robin Thicke’s bi-racial banger wife was her usual fabulous self in a short lil’ black number that had them legs on full blast!

Her clothing line for HSN is selling like crazy, but Queen Latifah says finding clothes as a plus-size woman was at one time a constant struggle.

“A lot of manufacturers don’t respect the curvaceous woman,” she laments in the January issue of ESSENCE. “They don’t respect our dollar or our shape.” Thankfully, she’s found an understanding vendor in HSN. “[It's] been such a great partnership,” she says. “I’m happy to make women’s clothing I really like.”

In August, Latifah told PEOPLE she was designing for real women who want affordable, wearable fashion. “It’s really something you can incorporate into your existing wardrobe,” she said of the tops, jackets, jeans and handbags in the Queen Collection. “I mean these are things that are really beautiful, but they’re very wearable. We’re really trying to make sure that they have the best fabrics possible, that it feels good on the body. I’m a Pisces, I’m sensitive; I like things to feel good on my skin.”

Designed for women sizes 2 to 24, the collection is everything the actress wants: “stylish clothes that fit my body, and make me look good and feel good about myself,” she shared. “I wanted to offer basically the same things that I have the opportunity to have.”

We ain’t even mad at ‘Tifah, and we’re sure that there are lots of sexy, curvy women who appreciate her also.

The star power was definitely in the building last night for a good, charitable cause.

Alicia Keys rounded up some of her highest profile, A-List celebrity friends to join her in a fundraiser dinner/auction to drop some stacks to help bring “consciousness and awareness” to the HIV/AIDS epidemic affecting the world.

Her charm and talent helped the singer raise $401,500 through auctions at her Black Ball event, which celebrates Keep a Child Alive, her 8-year-old organization aiding HIV/AIDS victims in Africa and India.

A dinner party with Edward Norton and Naomi Watts went for $25,000 and a trip to Paris Fashion Week to see shows by Givenchy sold for $15,000. The top bid was a lifetime membership to all Donald Trump golf properties, selling at $180,000.

Keys was joined onstage by Usher, Richie Sambora, Norah Jones, Gary Clark, Jr., and others at the event Thursday night at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. She closed the night with Black Eyed Peas’ leader will.i.am, singing Fergie’s verse on the hit “I Gotta Feeling,” which had Keys’ mom and younger brother dancing happily onstage.

The event honored the charity’s commitment to India, showing videos of children in the country battling with HIV/AIDS, and being kicked out of their homes as a result.

“We all deserve a chance at life,” Keys said in an interview on the red carpet. “Tonight really goes to the people. It really goes to the people that we serve, so that they can have the medicine to live.”

Sounds like the night and fundraiser was a huge success.

Looks like Queen Latifah may be moving on to that new thang.

After an eight-year relationship, Queen Latifah has split with her lover and is stepping out with her choreographer, say sources. Eboni Nichols is dancing her way into Queen Latifah’s life on the heels of Latifah’s breakup with longtime galpal Jeanette Jenkins.

“Latifah and Jeanette had lots of problems,” said an insider. “Their arguments were tearing them apart. But it was the Queen’s long-time friendship and professional relationship with Eboni that eventually drove a wedge between her and Jeanette. Even though they’ve broken up and gotten back together before, this time it definitely seems like the end.”

Latifah, 41, and Eboni, 33, have been friends since 2009, when Eboni choreographed a guest appearance by the Queen on Dancing with the Stars. Even though Latifah and Jeanette were arm-in-arm at the 2010 BET Awards and the two spent time together that summer on a yacht off the Italian coast, weeks later the Queen and Eboni were together, enjoying a trip to Barcelona, Spain.

Latifah always insisted that she and Eboni were “just friends” – but personal trainer Jeanette was not buying it.

“Needless to say, Jeanette was not very happy about their relationship,” said the source. “And she let Latifah know about it in no uncertain terms.”

Jeanette and Latifah are remaining cordial in the wake of their recent breakup, say sources: “Their relationship had been rocky for a while, and during one of their ‘breaks’ Latifah spent time with Eboni… still, it was hard for her to end her relationship with Jeanette.”

Say what you want about the Queen, but she sure knows how to pull em’. This Eboni chick is quite the looker.

The Queen wants to reinvent Duchess Kate’s wardrobe! No, not the Queen of England — Queen Latifah! “I’d probably give her a pair of my skinny moto jeans and a fresh moto jacket with a cool tank, and I’d probably get her a nice pair of Ralph Lauren boots, throw her on a cool-ass motorcycle and tell her to go,” Queen Latifah told New York mag’s The Cut on Thursday about how she’d style Kate. “But that’s just me. I like to see a little ruggedness.”

The 41-year-old star, who is launching her first clothing collection for HSN on Aug. 27, added that despite her own views on what’s fashionable, she likes the 29-year-old royal’s style as is. “I think she has a great fashion sense. I think she has a great sense of taste, and she seems just like a girl’s girl,” Queen Latifah said.

And as for Kate’s little sis?

“Pippa’s still kind of up-and-coming to me —- she should get to wear whatever she wants,” the comedic actress said. “It’s the time to experiment with the kinds of things she wears.
