New parents Jay-Z and Beyoncé enjoyed a rare night out to celebrate R&B singer Robin Thicke’s 35th birthday. The superstar couple joined Thicke for a three-hour feast at Meatpacking restaurant Catch, along with friends including Russell Simmons and music mogul Andre Harrell. With a party of 20, backed by a wall of security guards, crooner Thicke kept the mood intimate and handed over his own iPod playlist to the two-story restaurant, where it was played throughout. Our spy says Jay-Z kept it casual, donning a T-shirt and baseball cap, while a glam Beyoncé was “glowing with motherhood” and showing off a svelte figure post-pregnancy, “Beyoncé was showing off Blue Ivy’s baby pics, and the talk at the table was all about the joys of parenting,” we’re told. One diner at a nearby table got into the spirit and sent Thicke a $30,000 bottle of Ace of Spades Rosé to help him and his guests celebrate.

Sounds like fun. Hopefully BeyBey didn’t get too much bubbly, we don’t want baby Blue Ivy gettin’ tipsy off the t*tty!

Singer Robin Thicke was arrested in Manhattan for marijuana possession, the Daily News has learned.

The award-winning R&B crooner was arrested at 12:25 p.m. by patrol officers who saw him smoking a joint while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade near 3rd Ave. and E. 21st St.

“He wasn’t driving,” a police source said. “He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him.”

Thicke, 34, was in the Escalade with another person, the source said, but Thicke was the only one arrested and then charged with posession of marijuana.

It wasn’t clear where Thicke was heading, though he did provide police with a lower East Side address.

SMH. Is somebody stressed about that new baby on the way?

What’s owed:

The IRS filed a $492,583 tax lien against Paula Patton and Robin Thicke on Dec. 28 with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds.

The address on the tax lien is a Post Office box in Santa Monica, Calif. Here’s their home in Los Angeles.

Buuuuuut it doesn’t seem that they were avoiding the tax man. Their rep said this weekend:

“They were just made aware of the issue and it is being taken care of immediately.”

Paula has been in tons of movies and Robin just released a new album, we’re just the stacks are there to pay these bills. We hope.
