What a year for the Minnesota Vikings! They went from potential Super Bowl contenders to a group of bumbling idiots!

Well now that the season is officially over for them they do have something to celebrate rather than Brett Favre not getting concused or taking his “white snake” out for another photo opportunity. According to the Star Tribune of Minneapolis Leslie Frazier has agreed to become the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings. He has been the interim coach since November 22nd. The team has been 3-2 under him and will likely go 3-3 after today. Frazier is a defensive guru and won a Super Bowl with the 1985 Chicago Bears. Frazier will become only the 6th African-American head coach in the NFL.

The deal is set to be done on either Monday or Tuesday. Good luck to you Leslie! Next season has to be better than this one for sure.

JHud is set to perform at this years’ Super Bowl. Finally, someone with real talent joins this years’ line up:

Jennifer Hudson will return to the stage next month for the first time since the tragic murders of her family members. E! Online’s Marc Malkin is reporting that Hudson will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 1 in Tampa, Florida. “She certainly can nail it,” a source told Malkin. “She proved it at the Democratic National Convention.”

The Oscar-winner was rumored to be performing at next week’s Inaugural but that ended up being false. Hudson is up for four Grammy’s for her self-titled album, including best R&B album, best female R&B vocal performance, best R&B song for “Spotlight” and best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals for her duet with Fantasia, “I’m His Only Woman.”

We must admit that she’s an excellent choice to belt out the anthem. Also a smart business move on the behalf of the NFL – e’erbody’s gonna tune in to see Jennifer’s debut since the tragedy.
