Usher chats about his new song, “Hush.”

“Hush is about my awakening over the past 10 years to the social issues in our country and realizing that I have a voice. As Americans we have the right to speak out about slow recovery in the Gulf Coast (after Hurricane Katrina), a long war and home foreclosures. But complaining isn’t enough, you have to also take action. “Whether serving at the homeless shelter or going to the polls for the first time, you have to act or else Hush.” And he takes aim at his fellow millionaires in the words of his new song, singing, “Everyday he wakes up in his million dollar home/his life is like a video/the only reality he knows/He jumps inside of his hundred thousand dollar car/cruising up the boulevard driving past people living hard.”

We will give Usher his props for stepping up with regards to expressing concern over social issues, but it would be in his best interest to enter a witness protection program so the producer of this song doesn’t hunt him down and attempt to produce another track. SMH. Are you feeling this jawn?

Usher, who looked as dapper as ever, attended the GQ Magazine Gentleman’s Ball in NYC alongside stars like the gorgeous, Kerri Hilson, and that meat-head, Timbaland. We didn’t see Tameka, but you know her batty @ss was hovering in the wings somewhere.

You silly fools…not like that; that we know of. Men are welcome to attend his “Ladies Only” concert:

Usher’s upcoming tour may be titled “One Night Stand: Ladies Only” but it doesn’t mean that men will be turned away at the door. According to Billboard.com, a rep for Jive Records clarifies that although ladies may be the focus of the tour, men are more than welcome to attend the shows, which begin November 2nd in Atlantic City, N.J., and runs through November 25th in Dallas. The 14-day tour is in support of Usher’s latest album, “Here I Stand.”

Fellas, tell your boo you don’t care if she goes to the Ursher concert with her girls, because you are going with your boys! We might look at you sideways if you are sitting in the front row waving some Hanes boxers, but other than that…do your thing, you big ol’ player, you.

Here’s Usher’s latest single, “Trading Places,” off of his most recent album, “Here I Stand.” The fact that he made a song about being the bitch during sex doesn’t surprise us one bit. We all know Mr. Tameka don’t play that sh*t. That baritone all up in his ear probably drives him wild. SMH
