TLC’s T-Boz Being Sued By Honda For Money She Owes On Her Mini-Van

According to TMZ reports:

T-Boz might be forced to travel in the passenger side of her best friend’s ride … ’cause Honda is gunning to repossess the rapper’s car.

TMZ has learned .. Tionne Watkins is being sued by Honda for failing to make payments on her 2005 Honda Odyssey.

In the lawsuit, filed in Georgia, Honda asks the judge for the green light to take the car back. It’s unclear how much T-Boz owes in back payments.

It’s just the latest in a string of financial woes for the 42-year-old rapper — she filed for bankruptcy back in 2011 … but failed to complete the required paperwork … and lost the protection bankruptcy provides.

In other words, there’s NOTHING stopping T-Boz’s creditors from coming after all of her possessions.

In all seriousness though, yeah T-Boz should have been more financially responsible, but we gotta put some of the blame on triflin’ azz Pebbles for “allegedly” stealing all that bread from TLC back in the day. Bet SHE’S not hurting for any money…SMH

Ex-G-Unit Rapper Young Buck Evicted From Tennessee Mansion

According to TMZ reports:

Young Buck is in SERIOUS trouble — the rapper has been evicted from his Tennessee mansion … AND the I.R.S is still on his ass for more than $300k in unpaid taxes.

TMZ has learned … the former G-Unit rapper was ordered to vacate his 5,000 square foot home by May 16th.

The details surrounding the eviction are unclear — however, court docs show the judge in Buck’s bankruptcy case signed off on the sale of the house … and ordered that the proceeds go towards paying off his massive $333,975.69 debt to Uncle Sam.

Sources tell us … the rapper — who bought the house in 2004 — was spotted earlier this week carrying boxes and removing all of his stuff from the residence.

It’s just the latest in a sad series of problems for the rapper … who filed for bankruptcy back in 2010 … and was SHOT AT 11 TIMES back in March.

It ain’t 2003 anymore bruh, you might want to consider a different line of work considering this rap thing isn’t working out so good for you. According to Christopher Wallace, UPS is hiring…

Retired NFL Player Warren Sapp To Appear On New Dating Game Show “The Choice”

Fox’s upcoming celebrity dating show The Choice has lined up a list of famous bachelors and bachelorettes to audition sexy singles in prime time.

EW.com has the complete list of celebrity contestants, the first photo from the set and some behind-the-scenes insight from Fox’s alternative series guru Mike Darnell.

The Choice has cast singer Joe Jonas, actor Dean Cain, fashion model Tyson Beckford, former American Idol star Taylor Hicks, Jersey Shore stars Pauly D and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, chef Rocco Dispirito, TV personality Rob Kardashian, former NFL star Warren Sapp and more (full list below). The female celebrities include actress Carmen Electra and model Hope Dworaczyk.

In each episode, four celebrities sit in spinning chairs and listen to non-famous prospective dates pitch themselves. Over the course of three rounds, the contestant pool is paired down until each celebrity has chosen their date for the evening

“What started out as a goof ended up being a ridiculously good format,” says Fox’s Darnell, who was on hand during The Choice‘s recent taping. “It really feels like a hit. It was charming and funny… [The show] works beautifully. It’s going to sell all over the world.”

Five of the episodes will feature male celebrities; one episode puts women in the power seats. The contestants were unaware who the celebrities were until moments before they went on stage, but that didn’t stop the sparks. “The [female contestants] took it ridiculously seriously, like they were getting married,” Darnell says. “A couple of the setups really had chemistry.”

These type of shows can go either way, more often than not people end up playing themselves.

Fantasia Forced To Sell North Carolina Home Due To Financial Woes

According to TMZ reports:

Fantasia Barrino’s finally putting her financially turbulent past behind her — dumping the giant house in North Carolina she nearly lost to foreclosure in 2009 … but the therapeutic real estate move is costing her nearly $500K.

Fantasia has listed the 5-bedroom, 38,768 sq. ft. mansion in Charlotte for $800,000 — nearly $500,000 less than what she paid for it in 2007 … $1.3 million — and you can bet she won’t get her asking price.

As we previously reported, the home isn’t without its bad memories — Fantasia nearly lost the place at public auction after allegedly defaulting on a $58,000 loan. She managed to save it at the last minute.

Hopefully this will be the beginning of financial prosperity for Fanny, Lord knows she needs it…

Octomom Nadya Suleman Is Now On Welfare

According to TMZ reports:

Octomom is doing what she swore she would never do — go on welfare … TMZ has learned.

The mother of 14 is getting $2,000 a month from the State of California. The money is deposited directly into a special debit card account (see above). The card can ONLY be used for food — and it’s closely monitored by the State to make sure the cardholder isn’t making illegal purchases — i.e., buying a bike at Costco.

It’s a cruel twist, for a woman who vowed in 2010 — a year after giving birth to octuplets — she would NEVER go on welfare, saying she refused to become “a self-fulfilling prophecy” by accepting government assistance.

Octo qualified for the card because her income is less than $119,000 a year … and a family of 15 that makes less than that amount is entitled to welfare benefits.

In case you’re wondering, the $119,000 figure is based on an average of just under $8,000 for each member of the household. The more kids, the more you can make and still receive welfare.

We’re told the cash-strapped mom has taken her children out of private school, except for her one son who has autism, saving her $4,000 a month. And as we first reported, she’s even posing topless to make ends meet. But it just wasn’t enough.

When you can’t referee another stripper boxing match, can’t take off any more clothes, can’t appear on any more talk shows, what do you do? Swallow your pride and do what you gotta do to take care of all them damn kids that’s what you do.

Dennis Rodman’s Lawyers Says He Is NOT A Deadbeat Dad

Dennis Rodman’s lawyer said Wednesday that the retired NBA player is not a “deadbeat dad,” following court papers filed Tuesday that claimed Rodman owes more than $800,000 in child support.

“The way that it’s being painted makes it sound like he’s in horrible shape,” Rodman’s lawyer, Linnea Willis, told ABCNews.com. “This makes him sound like he’s a deadbeat dead. The bottom line here is that Dennis Rodman has always paid child support to the best of his ability and will continue to do so.”

On Tuesday, a lawyer for Rodman’s ex-wife, Michelle Rodman, filed papers in a Los Angeles court claiming Rodman owed more than $800,000 in back child support for the couple’s 9- and 10-year-old children as of March 1st. He was previously ordered to pay his ex-wife $50,000 per month for child support. In response, Willis filed a motion to counter the $50,000 per month order.

She said that order was issued in 2010 “without consideration of Dennis’ actual income, but rather was based on an exaggerated income amount made up by his ex-wife’s attorneys.” She also said that Rodman was not properly served legal papers.

Rodman’s manager, Darren Prince, said Rodman has been paying “at least $4,000 or $5,000″ to his ex-wife each month. Willis said the court “didn’t have evidence about all the payments that were made.”

“The only thing that was at issue was for certain months that her attorney brought up, he did pay something but it wasn’t enough,” Willis said.

A sentencing hearing for Rodman has been set for May 29. While his ex-wife’s attorney said Rodman faces jail time for his inability to pay child and spousal support, Willis said the judge “made it very clear he’s not going to give him jail time.”

Sounds like Dennis’ ex-wife is diggin’ for gold.

According to TMZ reports:

R&B singer Keith Sweat is singing the foreclosure blues … because even after the bank took his house and sold it … he’s still on the hook for $250,000 — this according to a new lawsuit.

PMI Mortgage filed the lawsuit against Sweat in Georgia — claiming the singer defaulted on a $450,000 mortgage on his Detroit home, which he purchased in 2004.

Problem is — the house was drowning underwater … so when the bank sold it, it only recouped $200,000 … a fraction of its losses.

PMI Mortgage sued Sweat for the balance — $253,000 — and since Keith failed to respond, a judge ruled in PMI’s favor. PMI has since sought a lien on Keith’s Georgia property in a last ditch effort to get its money.

Ain’t that a beyotch? Keith Sweat is about to be homeless…SMH

According to TMZ reports:

Antoine Walker’s NBA Championship ring just sold for $21,500 … which would have been great news for Antoine, if he wouldn’t have been FORCED to sell as part of his bankruptcy case.

Walker — who won the ring as a member of the 2006 Miami Heat — filed for bankruptcy back in 2010 … claiming he racked up more than $12.7 million in debts … but had only $4 mill in assets.

According to court docs, Walker had to liquidate his property to pay back his creditors … including his ring. Now TMZ has learned, the ring has been tentatively sold to a guy named Andres Garcia for a cool $21,500.

A judge needs to sign off on the deal before any money changes hands … but we’re told it’s pretty much a done deal.

They can take away his ring … but they can’t take away his memories!

Not for nothin’, but had it been us, we definitely would have lied like “Oh, I BEEN lost that ring! I don’t even know where it is” Eff that…

A disgraced Portland nursing assistant has been banned from Facebook and other social media sites after posting a photo of a dying patient’s buttocks.

In addition to being fired from her job, Nai Mai Chao also recently spent eight days in jail and had her nursing license revoked following a two-day trial.

Convicted of invasion of personal privacy, Chao was found to have posted graphic photos of patients on Facebook and to have written derogatory comments about them.

A coworker, who recognized the dying patient by the bandages on his bedsores, reported Chao to her supervisors and she was arrested in September, according to OregonLive.com.

The 26-year-old Chao denied taking the pics, but admitted posting them.

“It’s a good lesson that we need to be responsible about things we are posting online,” Kelley Cloyd, a prosecutor assigned to the Multnomah County’s Gresham office, told OregonLive.com.

During the trial, jurors were shown a handful of photos including two that contained human feces, according to the Oregon news website. The jury deliberated for just 30 minutes.

As part of her conviction, Chao must avoid all social media sites, including Facebook, Google+, Twitter and MySpace. She also cannot take pictures of anyone without their “explicit” consent, according to OregonLive.com.

Her name was entered into a national database that prohibits her from obtaining a nursing license anywhere else in the U.S.

Chao, released from jail on Friday, must also write a 1,000-word letter of apology. The victim won’t be able to read it – he died two months after the incident.

So disrespectful!

Sue Simmons, a longtime anchor for WNBC-TV, is on her way out.

The New York Post said in a column by Cindy Adams that the station would not renew Ms. Simmons’s contract when it expires in June. A spokeswoman for WNBC, Dawn Rowan, issued a statement that said the station had been “engaged in ongoing conversations with Sue about her transition from WNBC.”

“We have tremendous respect and admiration for Sue Simmons,” the statement said. “For decades, Sue has been a critical part of New York’s longest-tenured anchor team in the city and has more than earned her iconic status.”

An anchor at WNBC since 1980, Ms. Simmons earned the affection of New Yorkers, initially on the long-running “Live at Five” program in the 1980s and 1990s, and on Wednesday some of them wanted an explanation from the station.

“Fellow New Yorkers, I hope you all get that this is wrong, stupid and evil,” Mark Harris, a columnist for Entertainment Weekly, wrote on Twitter after reading the Post article.

Ms. Simmons’s role on WNBC had been diminishing. She has not been on the 6 p.m. broadcast regularly since she returned to work after back surgery at the end of 2010.

The change at the anchor desk comes at a time of rebuilding at WNBC. After going through years of cutbacks in staff and spending, the station has been adding news people and trucks that can do live remote segments. The changes have come at the direction of the station’s new owner, Comcast, which is trying to improve the standing of the NBCUniversal stations it acquired from General Electric last year.

Ms. Simmons made news herself in 2008, when she cursed on the air. She and her co-anchor, Chuck Scarborough, were doing a promotional spot for stories to be shown on the 11 p.m. newscast. They apparently believed the spot was being taped, but it was going out live.

Ms. Simmons began with a teaser about a consumer-affairs story: “At 11, paying more at the grocer, but getting less. We’ll tell you how to get the most.”

The station switched to images for a story about a cruise ship. There was silence from the anchor desk until Ms. Simmons — apparently addressing Mr. Scarborough — said, minus a couple of words that cannot be printed here, What are you doing?

She apologized during the 11 p.m. broadcast.

In 2010, Mr. Scarborough took questions from City Room readers. One of the first was what Ms. Simmons was really like to work with. He replied:

Sue has never had an unspoken thought, and I mean that in the nicest way. She is the least inhibited broadcast journalist I’ve ever known, making her always interesting and occasionally dangerous, like the night she read a touching story about an effort to save a sick baby whale that had washed ashore. At the story’s conclusion, her co-anchor (not me, thank goodness) said, “You didn’t seem all that sympathetic.” Sue immediately replied: “Oh I really am. If he gets well, I’ll kiss his little blow hole!”

That story is pure comedy. We love Sue Simmons and think the suits at WNBC are making a huge mistake! We wish her well! Good luck and godspeed.
