Burglar On The Run After Smoking Vietman Vet’s Dead Wife’s Ashes
A bungling Alabama burglar broke into a Vietnam War vet’s home and smoked his dead wife’s ashes – because he thought they were drugs.
The still-at-large bandit reportedly tried to blaze up the remains of Phillip McMullen’s spouse Christine after finding them in a plastic box.
But, after not liking the taste, he threw them up under a tool box.
McMullen – who was staying with friends out of town when his Citronelle home was broken into – also had fishing rods, a knife and a chainsaw stolen in the raid.
And the former sol”He ransacked my house, tried to break in my gun safe, which they weren’t able to,” McMullen, who’d been married for 22 years, told FOX10 News.
“They even took my wife’s ashes off my headboard, strewed them around, looked like they tried to smoke some of them or something,” he said.
“I guess they figured out this stuff ain’t worth smoking, so they threw it up underneath one of my toolboxes,” he added.
We’re sure that this looting loser has no idea that his desire to get high would earn him an extra charge.
A Mobile County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said smoking the cremains was “horrible” and revealed the culprit could face additional charges of desecrating a grave.
He won’t be on the run for long, anyone dumb enough to smoke ashes is sure to get caught doin’ some other dumb isht.
