Celebrity Exes Who Kept Tattoos After Breaking Up

Eva Marcille and Kevin McCall shocked more than few people when they revealed these matching tattoos last year….

…and while it will probably be a while before…or if…they have them removed, the relationship turned ugly and ended almost as quickly as it began shortly after Eva gave birth to their daughter earlier this year.

Nas must have really thought his marriage to Kelis would last a lifetime to get this very visible tatt of her full body on his forearm. He kept it even after she filed for divorce in 2009, but finally got it covered in 2010 once the divorce was officially finalized.

Trey Songz and his now ex-girlfriend Helen got these matching tattoos early on in their young relationship. They broke up in 2010, with Helen even getting engaged to her baller boyfriend last year, but they both still have the tattoos to this day. Hmmmmm.

Joe Budden and his curvaceous ex-girlfriend Tahiry Jose were together for a while even before the Love & Hip Hop cameras came along and somewhere along the way, Tahiry got a “Joey” tattoo so he would know it’s real. She kept the tattoo until almost a year after their 2009 break up, and then filmed herself having it removed in 2010.

Angelina Jolie tatted ex-hubb Billy Bob Thorton’s name right on her arm and didn’t have it removed until months after they split.

Chris Brown and Rihanna got their matching star neck tattoos back before things took a turn for the terrible and both still have them to this day. We’re actually not even sure it’d make sense to have them removed since they can’t decide if they want to be together or apart.

Adrienne Bailon just recently had her tattoo of Rob Kardashian’s name fully removed……a full 5 years after their break up. No word on whether or not Rob still has his tattoo of her full name on his rib cage.

Not only did Chad Johnson keep this tattoo of her face on his leg after his 41-day marriage to Evelyn Lozada was over, he got the tattoo AFTER she broke up with him but before their divorce was finalized.  And we’re still not sure if he’s gotten it removed. SMH.

Lamar Odomwas allegedly still holding out hope for a reunion despite Khloe Kardashian filing for divorce earlier this year following a 2013 filled with foolery on his part and now that Khloe has moved on to another relationship, we think it might be time for both of them to let these tatts go for good.

Although Faith Evans and the late Notorious B.I.G. separated before his untimely death, Faith kept her “Biggie” tattoo both after their break up and after his passing before later getting it replaced with her second husband’s name.

Chris Brown might wanna go easy on getting tatts with the girls he dates given his track record so far. He and Karrueche got similar zodiac tattoos somewhere in between his lengthy relationship with her, his “affair” with Rihanna and getting the other tattoo of Kae’s face on his arm. He kept the tatt for months after ditching Kae for Rihanna but later got it lasered off when he and Rih officially confirmed that they were giving it another shot.

Jermaine Dupri had no absolutely no shame when he got this larger-than-life tattoo of ex-girlfriend Janet Jackson and he wasn’t quick to get removed or even covered after their public break up.

These two have yet to officially confirm a break-up, but between Future frolicking around with his assistant as if she’s his girlfriend and Ciara publicly ditching her engagement ring for weeks now, they might want to start thinking about how to cover up these matching ring-finger initials.
