Zoe Saldana Will Raise Her Children To Speak Spansish, English, And Other Languages
Como se dice “Avatar” en espanol? Zoe Saldana has stayed mum so far on her pregnancy, but she’s spoken before about wanting to have kids—and now she’s opening up about how she wants those kids to be raised. Appearing on the cover of Cosmopolitan for Latinas’ September issue, the Guardians of the Galaxy actress shared her plans to have a multilingual brood with husband Marco Perego, an Italian artist.
“Of course [our children] will speak the languages that we speak; my sisters and I grew up learning French and speaking English and Spanish, and because of that, we’re able to understand Italian and Portuguese,” Saldana, 36, explained. “But I’m going to have to make a conscious effort to speak Spanish to my children, because I speak Spanglish.”
Zoe also talked about how her Latina heritage plays into her romances
The sci-fi star—who posed for the mag pre-pregnancy news in a variety of futuristic-looking frocks and settings—went on to talk with Cosmo about how important her Latina heritage is, not just to her identity, but also in her relationships.
“It’s one of the biggest factors about me: the fire, the passion, the ‘in your face’ quality,” she told the mag. “I’m not going to say, ‘Whatever you want, whatever you say.’ I’ll say, ‘You know what I think? I feel this.'”
She likes men to do the same. “I don’t want a man who worships me: Stay away from those,” the Avatar star said of what she finds attractive in a partner. “Worshipping doesn’t count as really seeing me. I like men who work with women, are challenged by women, learn from women.”

“[The most essential quality for a good sex life is] to be uninhibited,” she shared. “I’m not talking about bringing in a third person or watching p**n all night: That’s what leads people to believe they are amazing in bed when they’re the worst ever. P****graphy is not sex education—it’s the opposite! Don’t allow insecurities to close you off. Be creative.”
Does that mean she takes it in the poop chute?
