Drizzy clowns Chris Brown’s “Loyal” and Weezy brings the jokes on the “Drake vs Lil Wayne” tour

Funniest Quotes From Lil Wayne Versus Drake Tour

In case you haven’t heard by now, YMCMB head honcho Lil Wayne and his hit-making protegee Drake are currently going from city to city to battle it out  on stage during their appropriately-titled “Lil Wayne Vs. Drake” tour. The basic concept behind the tour is to have both emcees perform a slew of their hits, classics and fan favorites and then have the crowd choose a winner at the end via a free tour app designed that allows fans to vote at the end of the show.

Both Drizzy and Weezy are known to have a good sense of humor, so you can imagine the jokes that they come up with when going at each other live in concert.  Hit the flip to take a look at some of the funniest quotes from both the tour-promo videos and the show thus far.

Drake
“I’m here to let you know tonight that I’m about to roast this n***a Lil Wayne live in living color.”

Lil Wayne
“Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise for Drizy Drake. Ok, ok that’s enough noise. Actually, that’s WAY more than enough noise.

Drake
“I don’t think people realize what this is. This is not like, I go on and then Wayne goes on or Wayne goes on and then I go on. This is like me versus……Wayne or…..whoever this guy is that, I guess put me here or…..whatever.”

Lil Wayne
‘I don’t lift weights, I got enough weight on my back already. I lift blunts all day though. And this workout regimen right here makes your forearms strong enough to knock a n*gga like Drake clean out, ya heard me?”

Drake
“First of all, I wanna say that that was real disrespectful how y’all cut the song off before I could do my verse. That sh*t wasn’t cool.”

Lil Wayne
“Let me tell you, lil boy, there’s a difference between hits and classics. Let me show you.” (drops “Go DJ).

    Drake
“This guy wants to come out here talking about the difference between hits and classics. And I KNOW this guy has songs from……..2001. I KNOW he has songs that you remember from when you were babies and infants…but they came to hear NEW sh*t tonight my n***a!”

    Lil Wayne
“Ok.  Now  I’mma do a song that I did with one of your best friend. I gave one of your best friends a hit.” (drops “Loyal” by Chris Brown)

    Drake
“That sh*t sounds like a f***ing car commercial or some sh*t. That’s what ya’ll cheering for? This n*gga Tyga all in video like [dances around on stage]…..with Chris & sh*t.” (Following Wayne’s performance of his verse from “Loyal.”

    Lil Wayne
“I kinda remember that, a lil bit.” (After Drake performs “No New Friends”)

    Drake
“That was a great verse……..on someone else’s song. I actually didn’t even know you were on that song. That was great though. Like I was saying though, there’s some songs that are already done and there are songs that you gotta make great…like…I don’t know.” (Drops “No Lie”)

    Lil Wayne
“Oh, so you think you could just do a hook and it’s just cold like that, huh? Well, speaking of hooks, I am the creator of some of the most classic hooks there are. (Drake leans on pole on stage). Since you are on the pole, let’s run this one. (Drops “Pop That”).

    Drake
“For anybody that doesn’t know, that was uh, Miami…..circa 2004. If you wanna talk hooks man, let’s do some sh*t that they KNOW. (Drops “I’m On One”) Alex, can I get “hooks they know” for 500 please?”

    Lil Wayne
“I been doing this too long for anybody, especially a Drake, to be coming at me on some “versus Lil Wayne” sh*t.”

    Drake
“Oh, it’s on[in reference to Wayne’s mic] , they just don’t wanna hear from you. It’s like, have a seat, enjoy the show. THIS is what they came for.”
