Torrei Hart Speaks On Kevin Hart’s Engagement And Her New Man

As you’ve probably heard by now, successful comedian and actor Kevin Hart recently proposed to his girlfriend of 6 years on her 30th birthday, which also happened to be the night that his ex-wife Torrei Hart’s new show reality Atlanta Exes premiered.

Following much backlash for the coincidental clash of events, Kevin has spoken out to express his disgust with those who think he purposely went out of his way to deliver the ultimate shade to his ex by proposing on that specific day, and now Torrei herself is speaking out with her thoughts on Kevin’s engagement, her new man and much more.

On why she was so emotional on the first Atlanta Exes episode when speaking about her marriage ending after being cheated on:
It wasn’t that I was just cheated on, it was with his current fiancee. That was his mistress.

Let me make something very clear, in that moment, I had to relive something again. That was filmed back in January and we’re now in August.  I had to relive that moment for the sake of the show.When you’re reliving a moment, emotions do come up.

On her new man:
[my heart] is not hurting anymore. Listen, when I tell you I am in such a happy place right now. And [my man] is not only my man, he is my manager. He supports me 100%, which I never got from my ex-husband.

So, I have a real man in my corner who supports me; he works super hard for me; he rides for me. And I’ve never had that.
