Pizza Delivery Boy Caught Falsely Blaming A Black Man For Armed Robbery

Via MoultrieNews

Inspector Chip Googe of the Mount Pleasant Police Department said that Snide, 27 reported an armed robbery on Sept. 5 outside the CresCom Bank in Wando Crossing. The reported victim told officers that he had been robbed at gunpoint while at the bank and then drove back to his place of employment to call police. During a follow up interview on Sept. 10, it was discovered by police that the caller had fabricated the story and filed a false police report, Googe said. Drake Michael Snide was arrested and charged with Filing a False Police Report and transported to the Al Cannon, Jr. Detention Center.

A police incident report said that Snide worked at a local pizza restaurant. He was taking the deposit bag for the restaurant to the bank, he told police.

He told police in a statement that he walked out of the bank, back to his car when a black male approached him from behind pressing a handgun to the center of his back.

He told police when he realized he was being robbed he swung around, striking the suspect in the face. He said the suspect dropped the weapon and he returned to his car and drove back to the pizza restaurant where he worked.

In his statement to police, Snide gave a complete description of the robber and a description of his car.

He said the suspect was not able to get any money from him.

According to police an investigation revealed that Snide allegedly fabricated the incident.

If no money was stolen, and no robbery occured, then why the hell would he just randomly blame a black man? SMFH
