Over the weekend, thousands of people journeyed to Atlanta for ONE Musicfest, the largest cross-genre musical festival in the Southeast!
Nas, Kendrick Lamar And More Perform At One Music Fest
In celebration of its five year anniversary, the concert featured live performances by Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Jhene Aiko, Method Man & Redman, Amel Larriuex, Bilal, Alice Smith, Daley, Isaiah Rashad and Cody ChestnuTT. ONE Musicfest has become synonymous with counter-culture, progressive genre-bending, and unconventional blurred lines. Catering to today’s shuffle culture, ONE Musicfest sets the stage for music genres to bleed into one another and create a unique urban music experience inspired by alternative culture, sound and thought.
“There is a lack of representation for soul, progressive hip-hop, alternative and rock, represented under one roof, in the format of music festivals in Atlanta”, states J Carter, ONE Musicfest Producer. “We have noticed that while there are many pockets of individuals that share taste in the same music, rarely do you see them share in this together. ONE Musicfest was created with the idea of ‘music as the universal language. Over time we aim to grow this fest into a phenomenon and bring together different sectors of individuals through a unique music platform.”
The ONE Music Fest proved to be one of the biggest music festivals of the year and is only growing to be bigger and better every year. Hit the flip to peep more pictures from the festival next…
