Mimi Faust Speaks On Being Suspicious Of Nikko’s “Wife” Before Learning The Truth
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is on it’s scheduled hiatus from our television screens as Love & Hip Hop Hollywood is underway and bringing the ratchetness, but LHHATL’s Mimi Faust is still making a few media rounds to set the record straight on where she stands now after everything that went down last season.
Mimi recently stopped by “My Fierce Wings” radio to chat with The Biz With D host David Duane about everything from the shock of finding out about Nikkio’s wife, why the situation wasn’t enough to make her “go off the deep end”, how she and her daughter are dealing with her father’s death, whether she believed Stevie’s “apology” was sincere and more.
Check out a few interview excerpts below:
On whether or not she was shocked to find out about Nikko being married:
It was shocking to me to find out about him being married. First because, he always claimed to be very open and honest with me and, you know, always said that we were building and that relationships were built on trust….and he would always pund that into the conversation. So, yeah, him being married was extremely shocking.
On being suspicious about calls from the woman who she would later find out was his wife before the truth came out:
The conversation did come up because she would call his phone a lot and I would see that and he would never answer.
So, when I would ask him about…that person…he would say “she’s my EX; we ended our relationship not on a bad note like you and Stevie did so we’re still cool and we’re still friends. We still talk from time to time.” That would be his response when the conversation would come up regarding her but, that was all a lie. It was actually his wife.
On how she’s coping with her father’s death:
It’s difficult for me; some days are better than others. My dad was really like my best friend. I could talk to my dad about any and everything. To not have that anymore if very difficult, especially with all the stuff that I am going through. It’s crazy because I’ll still pick my phone up and start to dial his number.
So, it’s hard for me.
One thing is for certain: Little miss Eva is a cutie-patootie!
Mimi went on to elaborate about Nikko and his wife, how her daughter Eva is dealing with the death of her grandfather, getting an apology from Stevie, her relationship with the LHHATL new comers and much more.
