The creators of Blue Ivy are such incredible innovators, aren’t they?
Beyoncé And Jay Z Joint Album Will Be Released As A Surprise Later This Year Or Early Next Year
Beyoncé and Jay Z are looking to shock and awe audiences yet another time when their new joint album drops late this year or early next year.
According to Page Six reports:
Jay Z and Beyoncé are going into the studio to work on a new, top secret album together, sources tell Page Six.
The couple, who finished their “On The Run” tour in Paris last month, are secretly recording together and plan to release a surprise album later this year or early next year, a source said.
The couple hopes to repeat the success of Bey’s eponymous album “Beyoncé,” which dropped in December to wild acclaim despite no advance promotion, marketing or fanfare.
This unusual release strategy, and the sales that followed, has even become the focus of a study by the venerable Harvard Business School. It’s believed that the famous couple will accompany the new release with simultaneous videos and even a movie.
The husband-and-wife entertainers have recently been spotted in Paris, where they looked at real estate near the Élysée Palace last week.
At their final Paris gig to wrap up their recent tour on Sept. 13, Jay had told fans the city was special to the couple because, “we got engaged here and this is where baby Blue was conceived.”
Hey Jayonce, you know what would be a real shock? If you drop the audio from Solange elevator-gate as your album intro!
Now that would really help them move some units. Bet that would make for a hell of a HBS study.
