August Alsina is back on his grind…

August Alsina Performs For First Time Since NYC Collapse On Stage

Talented R&B crooner August Alsina is no stranger to bouncing back from seemingly the worst of circumstances and he yet again proved exactly how much of a soldier he is when he hit the stage to perform a full set of music from his debut album Testimony” and preceding mixtape “Downtown: Life Under The Gun” for the Bowie State University Homecoming Concert earlier this week. Mid way through his set, August even stopped to jokingly put his team on blast for constantly making him drink water after each song because they feared he would collapse again. Good to know he has genuine people concerned for his well being around him though, right?

This performance was Augusts’ first since being released from the hospital 3 weeks ago following a scary collapse off of the stage in NYC on September 15th.

Hit the flip to check out the rest of his performance.

In addition to hitting the HBCU homecoming concert circuit this week, August is also gearing up to get on the road with Usher for his UR Experience tour which begins next month. Needless to say, he’s definitely on his grind.
