Mayor Dill de Blasio And Chirlane McCray Host Halloween Party For Children
New York’s Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray recently put their strong swirly love on display during their Halloween party for local kids.
The doors of Gracie Mansion were opened Tuesday night to ghouls and blood-suckers, but most of the guests had nothing to do with politics.
Hundreds of kids converged on the official mayoral residence for a Halloween party thrown by a Grecian-inspired warrior and his goddess — better known as Mayor de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray.
“What better way to celebrate Halloween other than right here at Gracie Mansion,” de Blasio said.
Dressed in a long red cape and a black plastic chest plate, Hizzoner said his costume was inspired by Greek mythology.
“It’s kind of Zeus-like, but we’re not going to affiliate too closely with any specific god. This suggests more of a Neptune kind of thing,” de Blasio said, holding up a black trident.
His wife sported a long cream gown and golden headpiece.
“She’s dressed as the goddess of wisdom, the goddess of beauty, or perhaps both,” said the mayor, who planted a kiss on his goddess in front of their Upper East Side digs.
The public began lining up to get into the shindig more than an hour before the doors were opened at 5:30 p.m.
Gracie Mansion was decorated in cobwebs and Jack-o’-lanterns and a mock graveyard took the place of the manicured grounds.
For entertainment, a ghoulish-looking woman in white face makeup and tattered Victorian garb read from a book of scary stories while a woman dressed as her twin played haunting tunes on a piano.
How cute are Mayor De Blasio and Chirlane???
