“Lisa Bonet” Twitter Account Sends Cryptic Messages Amid Cosby Rape Scandal
Is this a message to Dr. Huxtable? An unverified twitter account claiming to belong to Lisa Bonet took what appeared to be some very thinly veiled shots at Bill Cosby’s near constant stream of alleged victims stepping forward with stories of intimidation, drugging, and rape on Friday evening. In a spurt of tweets, she addressed karma for one’s past actions:
Next she tweeted abut overcoming tough times. As many know, it’s been rumored for years that there is some rift between Bill Cosby and Lisa Bonet. The actress was fired from The Cosby Show in 1991 for “creative differences,” and not invited to take part in the show’s finale, but the specifics behind her release from the show and her disdain for the comedian have never been revealed. Rumors even swirled that Bill may have had Lisa blackballed in the industry after her firing as well. Could this tweet be a nod to her acting career struggles post-‘Cosby Show?’
She even seemed to shade the recent yanking of ‘Cosby Show’ reruns from TV rotation with her following tweet, making a point to let you know that you can still catch HER reruns from “A Different World” just about every day of the week:

Fans soon hearkened back to tweets Lisa Bonet’s good friend and “A Different World” cast mate Cree Summer sent off months ago, verifying that the “Lisa Bonet” account many fans have been following and tweeting doesn’t belong to the star at all. She gave no updated statement, but retweeted fan responses to the following tweets:
