Looks like LeBron James is the “King” of the NBA this year…He was named MVP last night, and beat that shady Kobe Bryant by a “landslide”

Before the Lakers opened the Western Conference Semi-Finals with a loss to the Houston Rockets, the big news of the day was that LeBron James was named the league’s most valuable player. James accomplished the feat in just his sixth season in the NBA, and while Kobe Bryant did finish second place in the voting, LeBron took it by a landslide. Phil Jackson was asked about his thoughts on the award, and said that this year, LeBron was the obvious choice.

“Although it was overwhelming in terms of first place votes, I certainly think LeBron deserved it this year,” Jackson said. “Maybe not by the landslide that he had, but certainly he had a terrific season and so did Cleveland.”

Gee, thanks Phil Jackson for all your kind words. But real talk, LeBron definitely did his thang this year. Kudos to the young man.
