Bobbi Kristina’s Family Disagrees Over Funeral Plans
Bobby refuses to believe his daughter is on her deathbed…
Via TMZ reports:
As Bobbi Kristina lays near death … the family is discussing funeral plans, but we’re told the Browns are preparing for war because of the way they were treated when Whitney Houston died.
Sources connected with the Brown family tell TMZ … they are a united front to this extent — they refuse to be disrespected the way they feel they were at Whitney’s funeral.
You may recall … Bobby Brown stormed out of the funeral after security refused to let him sit with Bobbi Kristina during the service. Bobby told us at the time … he was also furious the Houstons were angry that he dared to bring 9 members of his family with him.
We’re told the feud has already reignited. Houston family security set up a perimeter around Bobbi Kristina’s room shortly after she was taken to the hospital and there was a passcode to gain entrance. Many people in the Brown family were not given the code and it caused an uproar.
As one Brown family member told us, “If something happens to Bobbi Kristina, we will not be treated like children.”
And we’re told the angry discussions are not being held around Bobby Brown. He’s gotten wind of the talks several times and he immediately shuts everyone down.
Update via AJC reports:
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s father Bobby Brown and grandmother Cissy Houston are among the family members spending time at her bedside at Emory University Hospital. According to sources both inside and outside the hospital, they seem to be timing their visits so they spend time with her but not each other.
Each has been arriving and leaving separately and spending private moments with Bobbi Kristina, although they did both end up there at the same time at one point on Saturday. Houston, mother of the late Whitney Houston, arrived earlier today.
The two sides of the family have issued separate statements requesting prayers and privacy.
No one should be surprised at an uneasy peace between the Brown and Houston sides of the family. Recall that Brown and his entourage briefly showed up at Whitney Houston’s funeral three years ago and then left amid a dustup over seating arrangements.
At the time Bobby told People magazine: “My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us to move.”
Just a few days ago members of the Brown family scuffled at the Midtown W hotel, where they had gathered for Bobby’s birthday dinner. The Atlanta Police Department responded but didn’t make any arrests.
Do you think Bobbi Kristina’s family will treat her death like Whitney’s dysfunctional funeral??
