You’re Invited: Actors We Want To See On Season 2 Of Empire

“Empire” has already hit record numbers with its viewers each week! Go Lee Daniels and Danny Strong! Lee Daniels has worked with an impressive pool of actors and given Daniels’ critically acclaimed film background, we can’t help but to want him to bring some of his old pals on set. Hit the flip to see 15 actors we want to see reunite with Lee Daniels for “Empire’s” season 2.

Oprah– She worked with Daniels on The Butler. We all know that anything she touches turns into gold. She’s the queen of all media. So no surprise Daniels is already courting her trying to get her on next season, and we are here for it!

Diddy– He Worked with Daniels on Monster’s Ball and would probably steal the show. We could see him now being the owner of a competing record label.

Mariah Carey– She worked with Daniels on Precious & Tennessee. We know Mariah can barely act, but we wouldn’t mind seeing her on “Empire” giving a riff and a run.

Yaya DaCosta– She worked with Daniels on The Butler. After her well played role in the Whitney Houston Lifetime biopic, it might be fun to see her push up on Andre in the show.

Mo’Nique– She worked with Daniels on Precious & The Shadowboxer. Although she said she was supposed to play Cookie, we would only want her as an aggressive guest character.

Eve– She worked with Daniels on The Woodsman. Eve might not be the best actress but she is a bomb female emcee. It would be nice to see the former first lady of Ruff Ryders spit some bars on “Empire.”

Zac Efron– He worked With Daniels on The Paperboy. He hasn’t revisited his musical glory since Hairspray but “Empire” may be the perfect place to start.
Mos Def– Mos worked with Daniels on Monster’s Ball & The Woodsman. It would be nice to see a real rapper on Empire. Someone to show Hakeem how it’s really done.
Jane Fonda– She worked with Daniels on The Butler. With her career resurgence she could be great opposite Cookie.
Halle Berry– She worked with Daniels on Monster’s Ball. It would be nice to see pretty faced Halle play a music executive role on “Empire” as she plays every role with conviction.
Sherri Shepherd– She worked with Daniels On Precious. We would really like to see her on “Empire” only for the funny.
Paula Patton– She worked with Daniels on Precious. She may need a win like “Empire” since her split with Robin Thicke and because of her history of typecasted roles.
Nicole Kidman– She worked with Daniels in The Paperboy. Sure she’s high dollar but she might add a splash of pizazz to the show.
Macy Gray– She worked with Daniels on The Paperboy & Shadowboxer. Perhaps she can lend her vocals to some of these musical tracks on “Empire”. Timbaland give us some of that ’96 ish.
Billy Bob Thornton– He worked with Daniels on Monster’s Ball. Thornton is well rounded as an actor, director, singer and musician. With that said we wouldn’t mind if he sang us a song on “Empire” and chopped down someone on the show like he did Halle. Well maybe not like he did Halle.
