Ludacris Upset Over Paul Walker Racing Jokes During Justin Bieber Comedy Central Roast
When are people going to learn to respect the dead?
According to Page Six reports:
Ludacris was “deeply upset” over jokes about his “Fast and Furious” co-star Paul Walker at Justin Bieber’s roast.
Using a Ludacris song title, Jeff Ross joked of Walker, who died last year in a car accident, “‘Move bitch, get out of the way!’ is what Paul Walker should’ve told that tree. Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?”
Another roaster, Pete Davidson said, “Just this past year, Justin got arrested for drag racing. Unfortunately, it wasn’t with Paul Walker. What? He’s doing great! He’s got a movie coming out!”
A source close to Ludacris, who was in the audience, said the jokes “were in absolute poor taste and silenced the audience, leaving many upset guests — especially Chris, as Paul was like a brother to him, on and off screen.”
A Comedy Central rep said, “Roasts often push the limits of good taste . . . Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast.”
SMH. Those jokes should never have even happened! Some things you just have good sense enough not to say and don’t need to cross the line to know you’re doing so. Paul Walker died drag racing. How is that funny to anybody?
