Kendrick Lamar Engaged To His High School Sweetheart
Rapper Kendrick Lamar is riding high following the success of his latest album, To Pimp A Butterfly. The Compton MC has been bust prepping a tour and promoting his latest joint but many people have noticed a young lady with his as of late.
Apparently, Kenrdick has been dating his high school sweetheart Whitney Alford on and off for years. In a recent interview with Music Times he says this about his boo:
“I wouldn’t even call her my girl. That’s my best friend. I don’t even like the term that society has put in the world as far as being a companion. She’s somebody I can tell my fears to.”
At a recent promo stop where he met with friends and signed albums, something shiny was spotted on his secret boo’s finger speculating that the couple was engaged:
