Ted Nugent Blames President Obama For Veteran Suicides
Via Raw Story reports:
The Huffington Post‘s Ed Mazza reports that Nugent said “20 to 25 of those guys kill themselves every day, and they haven’t told you why and they haven’t told anybody else why. But they told me why: because the commander-in-chief is the enemy.”
The remarks were similar to ones he made to conspiratorial talk show host Alex Jones in 2013, in which he said that veterans were committing suicide “because they are in absolute frustration and heartbreak that their boss, their commander-in-chief, violates the Constitution that he has made an oath to, while their hero warrior blood brothers are being blown to smithereens and blown up while executing their oath to the same Constitution that the president, the vice president and the attorney general violate.”
Nugent was introduced at the 2015 Lincoln Day Dinner by controversial Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
The veteran rocker has also blamed the president and Democratic operatives for making people hate his music, creating “a plague” of young black men, and making a Sarah Palin presidency unlikely.
